Trump & Iran

Could you imagine Trump getting "intelligence that may put people at risk?" (because life is just like an episode of 24, hahahahhaha)

He'd be tweeting about it that night! what a fuckin' joke.

also, you are a brainwashed Trump follower. so is Tigermud.

Still no better option, in hindsight Cruz may have been OK to. He was my second choice during the 16 primary. Tulsi is my fav dem candidate the rest are a joke

lol... Fuck Iran. The fact that my take on the whole Salami dude getting killed makes me appear sympathetic to that country in the slightest at all is irritating. Being a moderate is hard.

Also, Emily R is a smoke show. But I don't ever care to hear her (or any other celebrity) talk politics. Even if I agree with them. Ricky Gervais's recent take on that in his Golden Globes monologue summed my feelings up on that well.

You can be glad he?s dead and still be a moderate. I?m glad he?s dead-the guy never did anything good for me-and I didn?t vote for Trump and I won?t vote for Trump, and unless unicorns start farting rainbows, pigs start to fly and Tulsi gets the nomination, I?m not going to vote for the Democrat either.

Members of the party out of the White House used to nevertheless rally around the president in times like this, regardless of who was president at the time. Maybe the Iraqi war tainted that sentiment, I don?t know.

This spiraling tribalism is actually possibly the biggest danger our country faces.

I was only 9 when Iran took the hostages from the American embassy but I remember vividly seeing this on bumper stickers and t-shirts at the mall and it pretty much always comes to mind when Iran is mentioned...

I was never upset that he was dead. It's more of concern of how we did it and where it leads to. I hope it leads to nothing, which if reports are true, Iran purposely missed US targets the other night and also didn't mean to shoot down the airliner, they're just fucking incompetent. If it deescalates from here, score one for Trump.

Iran says they missed on purpose but state run media FarsNews reported in Iran that there were 80 casualties from the missile attack. If the regime wasnt so virtuous I'd probably think both were untrue.

Unicorns farting rainbows, pigs flying, and Tulsi making Bernie her VP candidate for his experience and to secure Vermont?s three electoral votes.

Or she could contact my wife and persuade the wife to have her join us for a threesome on my birthday just before Election Day if I promised to vote for Bernie.

Psyche!

The Democrats are going to win Cali anyway!

I never said once I was a Anti-interventionist. Not once. Show me anti-bias Intell that proves it. You can?t. Same old shit coming from you. Twisting everything everyone says. I said Trump was a hypocrite doing the same thing he complained many times over and over again that Obama did. The Neo-Cons and Warhawks sure have a foothold over Trump. It is plain as day. Sorry you can?t see it. Why should we trust Trump and or Pence? We all know how much administration?s Routinely lie to advance their agenda . (Hey here is a hint)
We went to war in Iraq over faulty intelligence. How many died in that corrupt war in which Halliburton made billions ? So I am sorry if I will never trust a many administration?s again. I just don?t care. Perpetual War is what they all want. Until we vote this corrupt administration out, and weed out all the corrupt politicians nothing will ever change.

just curious who deleted my original response to this post?

Anyway, I never said you were anti-interventionist - not once. And you're right, I don't have the intel because I'm not on any CIA or State Department distribution lists or briefings. Good unhinged rant though, it's been a while.

Two Gop lawmakers rip Trump debriefing on Iran. I know this means nothing to the brainwashed Trump followers.

?Probably the worst briefing I have seen on Military issues in nine years I have served? in the Senate? said GOP Sen. Mike Lee of Utah.

according to alt-right, ultra conservative media outlet MSN and I assume, congressional record, it looks like 7 Dems in the house voted against the Iran War Powers resolution. It should be noted that 3 Republicans including Matt Gaetz who has been identified by posters here as a Trump lackey who the Washington Post called the "Trumpiest Congressman," voted in favor of the resolution.

so it's been a week since we took this guy out and since then Iran has "retaliated" by chucking a bunch of missiles that fell pretty harmlessly (other than the one that "accidentally" shot down a passenger airliner in their own country) and Trump and the rest of the warmongerers didn't go bat shit crazy with chest thumping rhetoric or fire a single shot let alone bomb the shit out of Iran like so many were afraid he would. Pretty much all they've done is reiterate their story that they killed a terrorist who was plotting to kill Americans and they would do it over again if they had to and that they'll respond appropriately to any actions by Iran.

I don't believe the missile strike was the real or final retaliation, it doesn't really fit the Iranian MO - in the past they've used proxy fighters or their terrorist network to strike embassies and other targets outside the region of the initial attack like they did against Israel when MOSSAD took out their top nuclear scientist. But assuming that is it from them, when are JSCot, turd, bob and all the other chicken littles screaming about Trump starting WWIII gonna admit they overreacted?

Sounds like you got it all figured out! The CIA should hire you.

I wouldnt say I have it all figured out just because I have a more reasonable handle on it than a handful of idiots so consumed by hatred they cant help but freak out every time Trump does something.

When the US military makes an action, I like the action to be successful as opposed to not successful, and I?m glad to give whoever is POTUS a ?win? in the situation - I?m biased that way.

Clinton supporters viewed the US contribution to the toppling of Milosevic as a success for Clinton, glad to give him the win on that.

There were a few surgical strikes on key targets back in his day that were considered successes; glad to give him wins on those.

Obama had a few successful surgical strikes; glad to give him wins on those; obviously, bin Laden was a huge win for Obama.

Don?t know what?s going to happen going forward, but as of right now, this is a big win for Trump - like, huge.

If Democrats keep blaming Trump for the airline disaster - crap, with impeachment they?ve practically already dug themselves up to their necks already...

The one in Battle Creek/Kazoo he had would have been closer for me, Toledo 3 hours or so. Yes wouldn?t that be something if it all lead to the mullahs losing power, the dems would throw a massive conniption. Trump destabilized the mullahs that jackass.

According to this crackpot something major is supposed to occur tomorrow, hey who knows maybe the mullahs are overthrown tomorrow!

according to this, that Air Force command plane that was shot down in Afghanistan recently was carrying the CIA station chief for Iran, who "masterminded" the Soleimani assassination.

I figured there was more to the story around the "plane crash." Our military reporting is always light on details when things don't go their way.
