Trump upset that no one in WH has asked about his "foolproof" plan to defeat ISIS

Trump compared his plan to the invention of the paper clip, saying that it was ?unbelievable? that the solution was ?so simple, so surgical,? yet he has not had any word from the Obama administration. ?You would think somebody from the administration would at least call me and say, ?Hey, could you tell us what it is,'? Trump said. He then admitted his reluctance to share his genius ideas with ?a bunch of clowns."

Trump: White House ?Clowns? Haven?t Asked for My Foolproof Anti-ISIS Plan

Ooooh....oooohh...I think that I have figured out what it is: T-shirt guns converted into firing shoes @ ISIS/ISIL/ICYCLE terrorists!!

He's going to invest in them and then declare bankruptcy.

Anybody wanna take bets it involves "turning the whole region to glass"?

I have a brilliant idea about how to end America's dependence on foreign oil. But Obama won't return my calls.

I, like Trump, and furious and confused as to why they won't take my calls...

...This dumb fuck really thinks that highly of himself that the president and/or advisers would call him when he has an idea? Holy SHIT.

Probably because even without renewables we're well on our way to energy independence - imports are down 60% in the last 9 years and now more than half the oil we import comes from Canada. Maybe Obama doesn't think your solution could be better than that fracking business he loves so much...

Donald Trump is that you?

Trump did mention that his plan was "surgical" ...so maybe its a neutron warhead(s) sprinkled with holy water so it kills only extremist Muslims with weapons.

Donald Trump is that you?

Is that the best you got? Trying to link me and I suppose all conservatives to Donald Trump - a guy who is completely irrelevant to conservatives. In fact, he's irrelevant to virtually everyone except liberals like you who need to prop him up as if he's the poster child for the conservative movement so you can rip on him and pretend like you've discredited all conservatives in general.

How about for once, you just admit that you're wrong, take your lumps and move on. For good or bad, we're hardly dependent on foreign oil and Obama and the dems love big oil and gas just as much as the Republicans and he loves getting the oil and gas at home, allowing unchecked fracking for his entire time in office.

...but somehow not the other extremists in the area the our government is backing and arming.

one of Obama's better moments... though that's not saying much. Trump and Fox News are pretty easy marks to beat, but at the time, the fact that this clown was getting press as a serious GOP contender made me want to put an axe through my TV: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8TwRmX6zs4

The roasting of Trump starts @ 3:00: "...you fired Gary Busey... these are the kind of decisions that would keep me up at night!"

I think that I read somewhere that the US has NOT been involved in some type of armed conflict in only 17 years out of the almost 240 that it has been an independent nation.

Now it has the ideal scenario to wage war to infinity.

We have an insatiable appetite for patriotic jingoisms, and it's tough to use those in times of peace. Freedom isn't free.

Can't you just let us laugh at Donald Trump? Hell, I don't see this as a partisan thing... if he's that much of a clown, why can't you (or other Republicans) laugh at him as well?

Is it because you believe he was close to nailing Obama with his fake birth certificate thing?

Or you think he actually does have some "business acumen" and would "create jobs" as President?

Buying crude & its derivatives from the refineries of multinational oil companies is not making the US energy independent, it makes Big Oil less dependent on the oil that is pumped out of OPEC nations...which is a boon for them.

Obama isn't operating in a vacuum, Congress is just as complicit in the energy lobby's profit motivations.

However the main benefit to fracking shale, which I despise due to its excessive poisoning of the environment and groundwater, is that social volatility in the Middle East becomes less of a factor in price and availability, which is likely what was taken into consideration by our Congressional representatives in DC.

The US isn't even getting any $$$ from leasing land for exploration, since the extracted proceeds are coming from Canada.

You're a fucking moron. The "foreign oil" comment was tongue in cheek and irrelevant to the conversation. The point was Trump being an idiot for thinking his opinion on ANYTHING but buying up property when it's valued low would be of any importance to the government. Which according to your "Donald Trump - a guy who is completely irrelevant to conservatives. In fact, he's irrelevant to virtually everyone", you actually agree with what I said.

But hey, you're so desperate and hung up to nail every liberal to a cross that you immediately assume because I think Trump is an idiot that I must be a liberal. Fun fact: I didn't/wouldn't vote for Obama and I'm not a liberal. So chill the fuck out, grab a cup of coffee, and realize not everyone on the message boards is out to get you or your perfect political ideology.

I wouldn't take his advice on how to slap my name on a building in oversized letters.

By all means, laugh all you want at Donald Trump. I do it regularly. Did you actually read my post and come away with the idea that it was a defense of Trump? I clearly said he was irrelevant. I can't stand that douche.

Producing more oil and gas at home, even it is being done by the private sector is in fact getting us closer to energy independence which is reducing the dependence on foreign sourced energy. Energy independence has nothing to do with shifting sources from multi-nationals to our own government. We may never fully achieve independence but at the rate we're going, our dependence on OPEC and other bad actors will be completely marginalized - unless there's a risk that Canada turns against us and allies herself with Russia or China politically. I'd say the likelihood of that is low.

I know Obama is not operating in a vacuum which is why I said he and the Dems love big oil just as much as Republicans - they're all on the take.

Social volatility in the east has at best a transitory affect on prices - it creates short term volatility but the primary drivers of oil prices are macro-economic conditions and speculation. Some studies have indicated that as much as 60% of the price of oil is due to speculation.
