Uconn looks good this week

Akron looked solid too in losing 31-14, not to mention CMU lost 48-14.

Every team UM has played lost today, so they should drop below #20 in rankings this week.

WMU...................0-5.
South Florida........0-4.
Youngstown st......4-1
ND......................3-2
-----------------------------------
cmu....................1-4
ND......................3-2
Akron..................1-4
U-Conn................0-4
----------------------------------------------------------

Not all that sure MSU fan's should be bragging about that schedule they have been playing. I mean Oklahoma had not problems dropping 35 on ND at their place.. I really don't think any Michigan fan is happy with the way we have played the last two games...

Well we did win the last two, which is better than some can say!

Not really bragging and not talking about msu. Its just shocking that uconn would get rolled by the worst team in the mac.

I know Michigan isn't nearly as bad as they looked in the last two games, its just hard to figure out how they could be so weak up front against bad teams.

At least they're winning, I agree, and nobody looks great in the legends.

Well, just maybe UConn experienced a bit of a letdown after having to play MICHIGAN last week, and likely circling that game all summer.

At least that is the theory ND fans used to explain Sparty's relative success against them -- that State always had the luxury of playing ND the week after M, and that ND had simply experienced a letdown.

Hence the schedule shuffle recently ...though I never believed that excuse.

Fans generally have a rationalization for losing and it rarely involves the other team being better. We lost bc of scheduling, emotional let down, etc. There are legitimate excuses like injuries etc but they are overused.

What do these numbers mean.
41
35
13
Now I Know we have turned the ball over a ton the last two weeks but MSU fan's have to be concerned about the offense because Michigan, and Oklahoma had no problem with ND's defense..

I know msu's offense isn't great and I don't have really high expectations. I'd be happy w 5-3 in the big ten.

Well I always have high expectations but it seems our line is not jelling as fast as I would have hoped... Have no idea how many wins Michigan will get but I am hoping for all of them and that every team that plays O$U beats them..

I'm an OSU fan and there is only one time a year I always root for UM to lose. I have too many good friends that are UM fans...I only want them to be miserable one time a year!

I am neutral when Ohio plays, unless it's outcome has a direct bearing on M's status. Which may seem every conference game, but I watched Ohio-Wisc with a detached interest of a football fan. Wisconsin's offense is as drab as I've seen this season.

when the loser of UM-OSU entered the game undefeated, the sting of the loss is greatly amplified.

Wisc usually has a drab offense...the difference is the other drab is usually Forest Gump drab....just running and running and running!

What I took away from that game is that white WR from Wisky is REALLY good!

Come on, guys. When a Sparty comes and rips on Michigan, it's not fair to bring up MSU.
