US is almost down to Russia levels, behind China in global leadership poll

considering what the leadership of europe has done to itself, particularly in the last 20+ years, the opinion of the people who elected those globalist turds is completely meaningless to me.

at the risk of upsetting blue
That's nice. At the same time you're not worried about what other nations think, you are concerned with me being upset.

I think attitudes matter, strategically. It's better for us to win approval - especially in today's age of really partisan politics, which I don't think is isolated to the US. When everybody's politics is so biased, it would be better if people were biased in our favor. You want other countries to to buy our 5G tech that probably spies on them or China's, which definitely will?

This is the whole world we're talking about, not just Europe.

it's not better for us to win approval if we have to do it by electing globalists and leftists that subjugate American interests to the wants or needs of the rest of the world.

well, I also don't care what the people who elected the people that run Canada, Central and South America, Africa (where elections occur) or the middle east think - same with Asia and Australia. I highlighted Europe in particular because their elected leaders like Merkel and Macron are infinitely worse than Trump and their leadership on the global stage is pathetic, their globalist agenda is destroying their countries and the values that have made the West what it is.

Nobody said that's how we had to do it.

I'm glad you're not involved in US foreign policy.

Russia does have one thing going for it..

Well, the survey was of regular Joes in other countries, not necessarily of those nation’s leaderships, which is what one thinks of when one talks about “what other nations think of us” - or at least that’s what I think of anyway.

That said, it makes perfect sense that Tiger mud would be more concerned about your opinion than the opinions of regular Joes in other countries.

Tiger mud interacts with you here pretty much every day.

Regarding interaction with people of other countries, he’s probably a lot like me-he probably only interact with people in other countries when he calls a service provider for customer service or tech-support.

Nine times out of 10 when I make that call, I end up screaming at the people because they interrupted me because of the time lapse; they don’t speak English so I can’t understand them and they can’t understand me; and they’re probably really stupid anyway-if they weren’t they wouldn’t have ended up working at a customer service boiler room in Mumbai, and I tell them all of those things while I’m screaming at them.

It’s no wonder people in other countries fucking hate us.

years of appeasement to the rest of the worlds wishes hasn't worked out all they did was take advantage of us. so NO I guess I don't care what they think
We're 4.4% of the world's population with 30.9% of the world's wealth. We've been doing ok at gettin' what's ours.

I think the average Joes make a difference. Some elect leaders, some buy stuff from us, some sell stuff to us - and sometimes, we like to travel to other countries.

Actually I know quite a few people from India, some of the most pleasant people I've ever met really. I have never found myself screaming at them. And yes when I think "rest of the world" in this context, I think rest of the worlds leaderships. I know the whole climate change subject is very touchy with blue was all that was about.

What were the specific poll questions anyway.
