Per Rotoworld:

Yahoo Sports' report on Adrian Peterson's left knee injury indicates that the Vikings fear Peterson tore more than just his ACL.
The fear is additional structural damage. "The way they were talking, I

Speaking of bottom-feeders, I for one am truly enjoying the Deadskins fall from the ranks of the frequently playoff-bound, esp over the past several seasons, although the franchise was also oft-mediocre if not awful on occasion during the 90s-00s. I just can't forget how often the Lions got their collective asses kicked by their teams in the past, esp on the road...sooo..suck it, DC dooshbags!!

Yea I was Getting a little worried that the Vikings would end up getting the #1 pick. This game sealed their fate tho, They are in serious trouble..they have very little talent now that Peterson is out for who knows how long, they are not an attractive FA location and worst of all they are stuck in the NFC North - I have a feeling that they will be the bottom feeders of this divisors for the next few years at least

Ponder didn't play too bad this year. Not sure why everyone says he's garbage. Also didn't have much help from his receivers. Harvin is alright, but far from being a stud WR like CJ.

He played better at the start of the season. He's a rook but Ponder regressed throughout the season.

Of all the NFC North teams I hate the Vikings the most.. man they runed many if not all of the sunday's in the 1970's for me... I think we were like 3-17 for something like that.. I know the vikings were good... But still... 1970 hurt the most...

Correct me here, but didn't the Lions lose to the Cowboys something like 5-0 that year? I guess you mean the Vikes were creaming the Lions that year too...but, near as I can recall...Dallas ruined 1970 for us, right?

The game I remember most from the 1970's was the Lions in Minny in 1973, I believe it was. The Vikings were kicking a FG & the Lions blocked it, but the ball bounced into the end zone & some lucky Viking grabbed it & the ref signaled 'Touchdown'. How in the hell that was a TD surprised me & all the Lions too. Guess it's a live ball after a block.

Yes, Dallas in the playoffs. But, as usual in the 70's, Minny Swept us and won the division. Maybe he was referring to those games.

Fun fact, that year we beat GB twice, @ GB 40-0 to open the season and @ Detroit 20-0 to end the season. We smoked 'em.
