What Ohio* sanctions will satisfy you?

I said before that the only thing that would satisfy me would be a 2 year bowl ban and a 10-10 scholarship reduction over 2 years.

I don't expect that to happen, but what will satisfy people now?

I'm thinking a 1 year bowl ban and a 5-5-5 setup is probably likely now that things are getting closer to a decision. Would this satisfy people? I think that it'd be a pretty decent decision by the NCAA considering they could just take the voluntary punishments that Ohio* has thrown against the wall.

A swift kick in the bucknuts, anything else won't do!

However since the have the Media darling "Urban" there now, it won't get much worse than what they self imposed. If the NCAA hammers them, ESPN will have a shit fit and they (the NCAA) don't want that!

Two year postseason ban, 20 scholarship reduction over 3 years, Ohio Stadium implosion, Jim Tressel 0-116 record, vacate National Championship, and Bauserman is all-time QB until he dies.

If USC gets punished worse because an agent gave Reggie Bush's parents a lease on a house... the system is clearly biased in favor of ohio.

whatever USC got, Ohio should get, + an additional scholarship loss.

The fact that Tre$4el was dirty his whole tenure at O$U is being forgotten which really pisses me off.. In fact Clarett, Smith, and Pryor were all dirty and there are many more dirty players that at O$U that were not clean... O$U had so many minor infractions to go along with their major infractions that no penalty is enough for how those dirtbags operated in Columbus. Hiring UM at O$U does in fact show that O$U and the powers do not get it because he is not a very clean coach... Win at all costs.... O$U is in fact a really dirty program..

A little refresher on the cleanliness of their program. Like anyone needs it.

"When asked to explain why she had changed Katzenmoyer's grade from an E ( Ohio State's version of an F)"...

Probably goes all the way up the scale. ...an A (Ohio State's version of a B)

They should be forced to hire all of RR's defensive staff to lifetime contracts.

I think Gene Smith has balls to come out publicly and challenge the NCAA like he did. I realize they are his homeboyz and he handed the NCAA hoops trophy to cheating UConn in March, but I'd expect about what SC got -- Bowl ban or two and 10 scholarships lost .....which might just pop a leak in that mythical dyke around Ohio.

I would be floored if they got any additional sanctions, I'm almost positive that the NCAA will accept their self-imposed punishment and call it a day. It's bullshit but the NCAA is a business and Ohio brings in a lot of money and Gene Smith is boys with the NCAA so absolutely nothing more will happen.

so did USC. Not saying you're wrong, but that logic just doesn't work.

Reinstating John Cooper as coach with a lifetime contract
YES, but make him also hire GERG Robinson as DC, and Tony Gibson DB coach, and mandate they run a 3-3-5 D.

I expect them to get the same as USC. Why is it taking so long for the NCAA to impose the penalty?
