We had singles by Miguel and Prince in the first but nobody was on then Dirks lined out... We scored on a sac fly after a few hits in the next inning but the inning fizzled.. Sox got a base runner and then sacrificed him to second then freaking Gordon Beckham doubled on a bad 0-2 pitch... Now it appears that Peavy is settling in as our early season lack of hitting continues..

7 strikeouts for Smyly. He & Denny McLain are only two Tigers pitchers since 1918 w/ 7+ strikeouts at least 3 times in first 5 career games.

Get the man some runs! damn our offense needs to wake up one of these days. That being said wed be set up for a perfect spot for our bullpen to blow a win by a starter lol...so maybe we shouldnt score this .5 inning.
