Who should the Lions draft at #5?

If one of the LTs are there, u take him instantly. If not, Ansah.

All wrong. The correct choice is cheeno Pfeiffer.

Ive seen a lot of mocks with Fisher over Joeckel at 1. I dont see either of them falling to us but so far my rd 1 wish list is:

1 Joeckel
2 Fisher
3 Ansah
4 Milliner
5 Trade down

I want to finish the defense badly but getting the chance at a stud LT doesnt come along very often. The value there is just too good to pass up over taking a project DE. LT is no brainer.

A good topic for discussion is at what point would you guys want to trade down. Say the scenerio is the bills want to move up to get geno smith and theyre tossing in their 2nd round pick. At what point with whos left on the board do you make that deal?

Maybe you can answer this because I don't know. What kind of stud is he compared to past LT studs?

All those guys could be on the board and I would still take the deal, little to no difference in those picks and what you can grab with the Bills pick. You still get to grab possibly Johnson, Warmack, or Cooper for the oline, Jordan or Mingo or Star on the dline, or Rhodes at cb. Who knows Ansah could fall into your lap too.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't think Millner is really that great. I'd pass on him. I'd take Xavier Rhodes over him, in fact. Wouldn't take him at 5, but I would prefer him over Millner if we're going CB.

Too stiff. Rhodes IMO would end up a safety

Joeckel not sure who he is compared to....maybe a jake long type cause of his athletisicm. Fisher is compared to Joe Staley. Either one would be day 1 starter at LT for next 10 years. (except for the lions who will play him at fullback for a couple years)

:D threw that in there just in case tony reads this thread lol
