I don?t think it will matter much and I think most of the markets move comes from commentary about the virus - the IMF and all the other chicken littles freaking out. Maybe they all see this as the best or only way to beat Trump so they?re all more than happy to pile on.

at first, I thought that was just a point about the timeline. That anyone is blaming Trump or Republicans or Democrats is pretty ridiculous - at least until it's been properly investigated by Congress and those responsible are brought to justice. You know, like we always do.

tough week in the indexing biz? The market has been artificially propped by low interest rates and excessive government spending since Greenspan. the idea that it's a recent phenomenon is laughably stupid but not surprising coming from someone ignorant and racist enough to use that kind of language. Also, with the global death total around 3k and a 12% dip from the recent highs, it's a bit premature to call this a black swan, unless every roughly 10% correction is a black swan but then actual black swans would be a lot more common or they've misnamed these phenomena.
