I would love La'el Collins but don't think he will be available at 23. I think we may be able to get Landon Collins or Malcom Brown.

La'el Collins or Brown. Whoever he takes I'll give 2-3 years like normal. Getting pissy over a draft pick is just dumb. Mayhew is a good GM. The team doesn't need rookies to produce right away to have a good team. See 2014.

I'm hoping for a defensive player in the 1st, get Austin more toys.

I thought you used the oline as an excuse for our shitty qb play. So youre rolling with the same oline with less depth and no new starters? Brain dead....

Waddle was hurt. Warford was hurt. Hilliard was hurt leading to Lucas/Reynolds.

Raiola stunk and is gone. So not the same.

Sims did well in second half and he was playing hurt in first half of the season.

Reiff,Sims,Swanson,Warford,Waddle can play like 2013. Waddle's injury concerns me though. La'el Collins would fit nicely and Sims won't be here forever. One year deal.

And the draft is more than pick 23. You sir are brain dead.

"team doesn't need rookies to produce right away" is probably the dumbest thing in the world.

They don't need it. Reiff, Sims, Swanson, Warford, Waddle if healthy can play like 2013.

Some of the rookies probably will produce but the team doesn't need it.

Of course maybe if they did produce we might have won a playoff game. But that's a bit too much to ask for..playoff win, pshaw.

Guys, you gotta stop arguing with him. It's just not going to work.

Agree with whatever he says. Make him feel good.

They beat Dallas. Refs handed Dalllas that game.

The offense got the ball back down 4 with over 2:30 left in the game. They still had a chance to win but they couldn't pull it off. A great QB gets the job done in that scenario.

On a side note though, if our OL doesn't produce again we don't have to judge Matt in season 7, we can wait until season 8.

It reminds me of the Friends song..Stupid Matt, Stupid Matt
It's not your fault..

There will be a new set of excuses for every year of Stafford's career. I'm sure one day we'll hear "Stafford would've made it to the HoF if...".

What's sad is that Stafford probably puts more blame on himself than his fanboys do.

Stafford is realistic....his "fanboys" live in their own dream world.

Honestly, there may be only one delusional poster on this board when it comes to Stafford.

Stafford ws 6th in TDs and 6th in 3rd down % in 2013. And most of the ints clearly weren't his fault.

11 wins in 2014, only 6 picks his fault in 600 attempts, plenty of comebacks despite no protection, many offensive injuries and no run support. He was everything good about our offense.
Stafford played well both years. He doesn't need excuses for anything, he deserves praise.

"I thought it was an outstanding season for him," Mayhew said. "I think it was probably the second-best season that he's had here with us. 2011, obviously, was exceptional. Forty-one touchdown passes and 5,000 yards passing.

"This year was an outstanding season for him, in my opinion. It's interesting that when in 2012 and 2013 he's throwing for a lot of yards, and people are saying, 'Well, the real stat that matters for a quarterback is winning football games.' Then this year, we win a lot of games and people are unhappy with the stats, you know?'"

Mayhew said he was outstanding. That is the only opinion that matters. Mayhew actually understands the game tape unlike everyone but me here.

Very true.

Most fans and analysts will put him in that 10-15 range, which is fairly accurate and something I agree with.

No doubt, Mayhew is the best talent evaluator in the league.

And usually, not to point at you, the ones who say he's in the 10-15 range will tell others who put him in the 15-25 range as just someone who's just a hater.
