Give me Tua.

Generational talent. We all dreamed about getting this kid. Now we can.

I know we won't, because Quinntricia are playing for this year and saving their job, not for the future.

This is a totally honest question, because I really just don't know. But if we took Tua, what kind of return could we get for Stafford? We'd probably keep him for next year due to the dead cap (and ensuring Tua has time to get healthy and learn the offense).

Is he more Alex Smith (third round pick) or Sam Bradford (first and fourth round picks)? Note that this question isn't about how good those players turned out, but only how highly they were thought of at the time.

Honestly, I wish I knew. I just know that I am not letting this injury turn me away from the kid. He's an absolute phenomenal talent. I think Stafford has probably 2 great years left. You have a chance to do the Smith/Mahomes route. Let Tua learn, and then cut the ropes and let him go.

Im fully expecting chase young to fall to our laps... just to see quin take someone dumb. Need to prepare for the worst.... so everything else just doesn't seem as bad. It's simply what being a lions fan will do to you after 30 + years of being a fan.

I called this a month ago. Young will fall to us and he will run up to the podium to take someone we could have traded down for.

If that were to happen, Quinn should be fired on the spot. Not necessarily because he took someone else but because he didn't wait to hear the phone ringing off the hook.

If Young is there at 3 there will be at least 10 teams calling the Lions.

Chase being there gets more calls than Tua being there??

I 100% would stop watching/listening/reading all things Lions until Quinn was gone if that happened.

I might have to save this. I am pretty much already there. I only follow a little on here and whatever I glace at on Twitter. I actually follow the Jags a little more now being close to Jacksonville. At least the other Detroit teams have been successful, the Lions have been yeah my whole life. My older brother went from a season ticket holder last year to being done with the Lions. Quinn is way in over his head and the only successful thing he has done is get more money from Martha. He makes me miss Mayhew and be reminded of Millen.

For sure. Almost every team could use a stud de. Only a handful need a starting qb

I may be crazy but I cannot recall in my lifetime a team trading multiple picks to move into the top 3 to take a defensive player... I could be way off base but none stand out to me. Now a trade into the top 3 for a QB happens pretty much every other year....

that's a fair point.

Yeah sure.

I don't think it will happen but I'd be willing to have an admin ban me from posting in the Lions section if it did. I already refuse to buy tickets to games. Think of the house projects I could get done.

Next year I think I'll start a DFS fantasy football league and only invite Lions fans. It will allow some of you to ween yourselves off of being Lions fans and just enjoy the NFL.

Rearrange the kitchen is always a good one. My go to is always the sock drawer, I have an unusual amount of socks that I never wear.

Once a year I throw away every single sock, pair of underwear, and white T shirts that I own and buy new ones. It sounds dumb but it's awesome. No mis-matched socks & gross T shirts.
