simple throws that are missed. and wide open wrs that aren't even looked at. It can be a simpler game for qbs that understand their offense and how to take advantage of what the defense is giving them. That requires presnap reads...something we don't do well. That also requires the qb having the autonomy to make adjustments...something else we don't do well.

Stafford has been with the team how long? that is the opposite of shortsighted....it is what it is. below average.

Just trying to make a point that you ALWAYS try and surround your QB with talent no matter what. Luck is arguably one of the best in the game and his organization tries to surround him with talent. Stafford is barely an above average QB and people on this board crucify the organization for it. I find that comical...lol

Sorry Tony, but I do want to point out the obvious anomaly to this, the Patriots, who continually strip Brady of big name weapons yet they keep winning.

My point is that good coaching and a smart GM can still win.

Funny though. The Patriots continue to surround Brady with toys though. Guys like Gronk and Moss were exceptions to the rule. And the toys he gets surrounded with might not be the shiniest but they're still toys regardless. And Brady is on another level anyways....you can't compare him to anyone IMO. He's the greatest QB to EVER play the game.
