sad day? He's 37 and played in the NHL for 15 years.


Because I enjoyed watching him and 37 or not the Wings are better with him. Plus, you want to see players go out on their own terms not forced because of an injury. Still a top notch player.
 
Given how early in his career Zetterberg started having back issues, its almost a miracle he made it this far. Let alone the level that he continued playing at.
