Caldwell is 26-22 as a head coach. He was a train wreck at Wake. Good coaches don't get canned after 3 years. Good coaches don't go from being a head coach to a QB coach. The guy does not compare to the coaches that have been mentioned time and time again in this thread. We are on the same page Grandy. When we hired these young guys it turned me on to the hire. The stage very well may be to big for them but we need to take a chance on some young blood raised in the modern game. Nothing got me lower than Gunther Cunningham's fearsome foursome defense.

michigan's problem is the same as the lions. no depth, poor qb play, poor pass defense and lack of talent.

whisenhunt single handedly resurrected rivers career last year...much better coaching job than Caldwell has ever done. And wana talk to about injuries and lack of talent at WR.....check out the chargers roster last year.
