Can read into this a couple different ways. Ruiz staying? Underclassmen stepping up at G spots? Just wants change of scenery?

    Michigan Football Recruiting '17

A lot of people have forgotten about Kareem Walker. UnderArmour All American last year, consensus 4* recruit, Rivals.com #6 RB, Scout's #3 RB, #4 at 24/7, #4 at ESPN. Samuels may be a softer verbal than we'd like, but hopefully Walker, Evans, and a better OL bring better results. A running...

Well... we'll get em next year.

In all honesty though, at least we'll feel like Michigan has a chance in this game, as long as Harbaugh is on he sidelines. But this was a National Championship caliber team. But losing 2 of 3 down the stretch, with play-calling dumb enough to make a bald man pull his hair out, Michigan's...

Well... we'll get em next year.

This! Get Clemson to lose again, Wisconsin beats Penn State. Top 4 includes Alabama, Ohio State, Michigan, Washington. Though in that scenario, I bet Michigan plays Alabama in the New Year's Eve game, but still. Imagine a UM/OSU game for the National Championship...

week of the Ohio State football match

Still hoping the "questionable" game plan and play calling last week was partially to keep things off film for Meyer & Co. I thought the playcalling was atrocious and didn't do anything to really help the offense as a whole, or O'Korn on a smaller scale. Watch though, O'Korn will be QB and...

The Official MSU vs ][V][ichigan Game Thread

MSU gets a TD, Michigan outscores them 30-3, then clearly takes foot off gas and game gets closer than it should have been. THIS is why I laugh when articles are written accusing UM of being "too ruthless" this season. As Spurrier used to say, "not my job to stop me!"

It was. This is a conversation for another day, but I'm not sure position Peppers is best suited to play at the next level. He's obviously not playing LB at 205 pounds. Does he cover well enough to be a safety? Can he get into a defense where a SS doesn't do a ton of coverage, like what Troy...

    7 football early enrollees

I could see a very realistic scenario where over half of those guys play next season. I think the two linebackers absolutely have a chance, especially if Kemp at 250+ can move well enough to play the Buck position. I'm starting to warm to the idea of moving Smith to FB with Houma and Kerridge...

Uh, not to burst your bubble.... But this is just about what everyone said would happen when it came to those three games. I'm happy to be proven wrong; I thought for sure there'd be a couple games UM should have won but didn't...maybe BYU, at Penn State or Indiana, etc. After a loss like...

Home field advantage doesn't help a 3 man line against 6 bruising blockers with no second level support.

Sad that these losses don't hurt as much anymore. Though the losses in '12 and '13 were awful because UM actually had chances in those games, and because of Al Borges in all his glory pissed them away. These last two seasons, UM lost to a better Ohio State team. It's going to take some time...

I thought last year's Mattison game plan of rotating DL against Indiana's tempo offense was the dumbest gameplan I'd seen a Michigan DC come up with. Today was worse. I just cannot believe that today's defensive game plan was a conscious decision from a man getting paid six figures to know better.

Durkin's done a good job overall this year. Today was inexplicable. We'll never get a real answer, but the question needs to be asked. What did you see on tape that led you to gameplan a 3 man front with no blitzing from the LBs against this OSU running game?

I thought the same thing...the exact same thing. Not about firing them though... And while I can understand why Durkin did it (if he wants to be a HC, who are we to tell him to put those goals on hold?), I wish he hadn't.

Meh, at this point I think it's a footnote on the game. Stupid call, stupid execution, probably a running into not roughing the kicker, but shit, they had bigger problems today.

They'll end up in the Outback or Cap One Bowls against Georgia, LSU, Mississippi State or some team like that.
