Flying Lotus is completely different live than his albums. I've got some shows I could send you if you want em..

I know....well kind of. I've seen a couple youtube videos and it was a LOT heavier. The bass didn't translate through my mediocre computer speakers, but I got the idea.

Sure, if you have some good recordings that would be much appreciated.

Good shit. You mentioned Bonnaroo earlier....seems like a flylo late-night show has to happen eventually.

He's done Coachella and Camp Bisco in the past. He was also at Demf two years ago I believe.

Parliament doesn't get the recognition it deserves. How many bands and Hip Hop artists have they inspired? Short answer.. A ton.

<3 the Mighty Boosh.

yeah, there are a dozen or so bands/musicians that form like 90% of everything sampled for rap, hip hop, whatever..

Parliament/Funkadelic, James Brown, Curtis Mayfield, Al Green, Marvin Gaye, Sly and the Family Stone, Kool and the Gang, etc.

I started listening to all of them in college. it's kinda funny, even their more obscure stuff sounds familiar because you've heard it sampled so many times.
