WikiLeaks revealing how scummy the DNC is

She's been in the crosshairs of the RNC since 1992, it's actually surprising how few real scandals she's been involved in. Benghazi was all about the failures of Obama, until he won re-election, then it became all about Hillary, just goes to show that it was all about the election cycle anyway. the email thing, whatever, the FBI said that it was nothing criminal, though if you watched the convention last week you'd think she's going to be indicted tomorrow.

Encore gif ... but it seems to consistently apply. And poor Hillary. Such a noble person deserves better.

I wonder what shenanigans we're going to find Putin was behind on the Republican side of the process to get his buddy Trump the nomination.

EDIT: Maybe he leaked that photo of Ted Cruz's father shooting Kennedy from the grassy knoll.

Trump's campaign manager, Paul Manafort, was a fixer for a Ukrainian oligarch tied to their ousted president (Yanukovich) who was the Kremlin's guy and now lives in an undisclosed location somewhere in Russia.

so... the ties that bind. it is odd. it is also something that, you'd expect if the shoe was on the other foot, Republicans would be howling about it. although they do seem to have a strange affinity for Putin, so maybe not.

Excuse the quote out of context, but are you really comparing all Trump supporters to Nazi's?

. . . and you wonder why I accuse you of hate mongering yourself.

<<shakes head>>

So what would you call the Trump supporters? Fear, bully tactics The guy hates immigrants, women, pepole. Some on here call Clinton a sociopath then what the hell is Trump? Hate mongering my ass I have no love loss for that phony Clinton but I have laid out exactly why I do not want any republicans to have Drumpf's ear if elected . Trump and his people scare the shit out of me .
Sorry if my opinion pisses you off. Would you rather me call them good old boy rednecks ? Or angry white guy ? Gotta give him credit he had tapped into the Fox propaganda play book to incite his rabble ...

All of the names above in the last paragraph are absolutely fine. I'm offended Bob, not pissed off. If you ever knew anyone connected with the Nazi concentration camps, you wouldn't compare the Nazi's to anyone, even those you hate. You are old enough to know people who have been through it and understand the atrocities attributed to them.

Hate mongering - hell yes, what would you call it when you make that comparison - it doesn't "drive" home your point at all, it makes you sound like a hateful fanatic.

If you really believe in that, you need help.

if that's your standard for political criticism, I missed all your posts complaining about... well... everything from 2001-2009.

Well you use that standard rather readily in judging everything from 2001 - 2009, so yeah why not.

Answer the question.

yeah, but was it "grossly negligent"?

I'm like this too. One of the conservative posters referred to Hitler in connection to the Brexit discussion, and I commented that unless it's Stalin or Mao, comparisons to Hitler are uncalled for, and really disteacts from their points - whether points are conservative, liberal or whatever else.

That's what I think anyway.

ok, Mr. Tough Detective Hard-On Man, I will answer the question.

her conduct - using her own email server - was not gross negligence... it was worse than that. It was intentional conduct. it's inexcusable and wrong.

know what else is crazy? I didn't vote for her. In fact, I've never voted for a Clinton for ANYTHING. This November will probably be the first time for me. and I consider myself doing so under duress, because there is no alternative. barring unforeseeable disaster either Trump or Clinton is going to be elected president in November, and no support for any third party candidate will change that.

Your vote isn't going to count whether you vote for Clinton or a third-party candidate.
Texas has been one by the Republican for the last nine straight presidential elections. Trunk being such an asshole will probably help him in Texas.

Edit: I guess my smart phone isn't that smart. It should have understood the context but obviously I meant "won."

This reflects my thinking too.

And the whole "throw your vote away" line of thinking is a self-fulfilling prophesy; it's only true because so many people think it's true. Kind of like the elephant that doesn't break free from the flimsy chain because it learned at an early age it couldn't.

someone was just telling me that Texas might not be as pro-Trump as advertised. was it you? i had a crazy weekend and don't remember exactly.

i don't agree though (i.e. fully expect Texas to vote the opposite way i do)

I understand your pain. I think my vote will end up not really counting much, as I really want to write in a candidate or just not vote. It would be the first time in my life I haven't voted in either national or local elections, but I think I'm almost there.

I think this is actually a good thing. please make sure to follow through and not vote in 2016, or any future election, whether it be local, state or federal.

how many scandals has she been part of?

there's the email thing, and BHENGHAZI!!!.

I mean she's just generally sleazy and close to wall street, opposes efforts to regulate them, charge them with fraud, is a pro-war hawk on defense spending, the middle east, israel, etc. I would think you would like all those things though. other than her tepid support for healthcare reform and gay marriage, I don't understand why Republicans hate her so much.

or when you refer to Clinton scandals, are you going "retro" and including whitewater, Vincent Foster and other 90's era right-wing bogeyman stories?

right wing bogeyman stories - that's funny. you left out Travelgate, cattle futures, Clinton cash where she sold political favors to foreigners in exchange for millions of dollars and the targeting of any woman who her husband cheated on her with or sexually assaulted.

"In truth, to anyone versed in counterintelligence and Russian espionage tradecraft, Wikileaks has been an obvious Kremlin front for years, and it?s nice to see the Democrats and their allies in the mainstream media suddenly come around to this view?which I?ve stated publicly since 2013, based on my long experience working against Russian security agencies in the SpyWar."

Source: John Schlinder. Scoff at will. I won't. And the end-game is to get Trump in the WH.

Edit: "John Schindler is a security expert and former National Security Agency analyst and counterintelligence officer. A specialist in espionage and terrorism, he?s also been a Navy officer and a War College professor."

I don't think anyone is scoffing at the notion that the Russians could be behind any of this. The source of the hack isn't all that important - the thing I'm scoffing at (and I think others) is that the Dems are attempting to plant seeds of doubt as to the authenticity of the emails.

Didn't the Dnc aplogise ?

Meanwhile back at the ranch, Al Franken was actually a little bit funny in his address at the DNC.

He must've had someone write his material tonight; I've never heard him say anything funny since he has been a senator; I really don't know anything about his background before that, I guess I've always thought he had been a Minnesota cheese farmer.
