2-2 bummer 81-81. another loss, I'll begin to complain, still 160-2 should b good enough. Pesky Twins!

RAPID FIRE.
Totally Tigers

The Tigers have now played their first week of games. Are we starting to see a glimmer of how this team will perform? How many of the players have gotten out of the starting gate? Will others gradually catch up?

Yes, it?s very early in the game but what are our first impressions? Are we seeing things that are promising? Are we seeing hints of concern?

Throughout the season, we?ll keep re-evaluating and ranking all 26 players. We?ll even keep track of the roster changes. Keep in mind that in a couple weeks, Spencer Turnbull will return so someone on the lists below will have to leave.

Holly and Kurt have shared their first impressions and ranked the entire roster with only 2 sentences each to explain their rationales. As always, they don?t share their answers in advance so let?s see how similar or different their lists are.

All six games were at home and they went .500 WPCT

Home Record vs Away

2020 = .444 WPCT vs .355 WPCT
2019 = .272 WPCT vs .313 WPCT
2018 = .469 WPCT vs .321 WPCT
2017 = .420 WPCT vs .370 WPCT
2016 = .563 WPCT vs .506 WPCT
2015 = .469 WPCT vs .450 WPCT
2014 = .556 WPCT vs .556 WPCT
2013 = .630 WPCT vs .519 WPCT
2012 = .617 WPCT vs .469 WPCT
2011 = .617 WPCT vs .556 WPCT

2021 = .500 WPCT Home and .400 WPCT Away = 72-73 wins

based on their runs scored compared to runs against, they should win 51 games this year

I actually am starting to believe they will finish above .500 this year. Put me down for...

84-78 in honor of the 1984 team.

Every series we'll be changing our predictions based on how they play.

I?d be Happy with my 80-82 pick. Nice to see a glimpse of what the Tigers could be in the future if the young pitching comes together. The Astro series right after that dud of a series in Cleveland was really fun. Plus last nights game was really exciting the last few innings.
Fun stuff. If only Miggy could get his 3000 hits this year. I fear he is running out of time based on his body breaking down so much in recent seasons.

At 6-10 =10% of the season is done and lost. That's works out to 60-100. so 61 -101 fits now not good. Not good. So 152-10 is still on the possibility, wish list. Need to find the bats. I think a better lead off hitter!, Number two HITTER, and the rest of the line could make more contact. Too many strikeouts. When a team has far more Ks than hits the problem is simple, better hitting is a must.

Not for nothing and it won't stay this way but Yankees are 6-10 as well.

Nobody nailed it exactly, but you 3 will end up being pretty close.

Yes, those pics were pretty close, but I am the only one who absolutely nailed it on the head.

In #21 I predicted that if the Tigers won 108 games, they would win the central division, and as it turns out, they absolutely would have.

In fact it wouldn?t have even been close.

I offer the best prediction to gotime, since he was more optimistic than myself or jimmygank, and the differential between the three of us was two games.

Pythagorean is 75 wins for the year.
