Get StartedAnd the Guardians make it interesting in the bottom of the ninth, with three flyballs that all were within a couple of feet of the outfield wall.Yankees up 5-1 bottom of the 8th.
Good series win against one of the hottest team in the majors..
Cleveland might even lose one today too.
Our 5 starters era are all between 2.22 and 3.29. That's insane.
Hell, our overall era(including bullpen) is 3.07, whip 1.14. Fetter is sooooooo underrated nationally.
I wonder what kind of time share Dingler and Rogers are going to have when Jake gets back. Dingler seems to handle the staff just fine, and his bat seems to be more imactful

Totally Tigers
First came pitching chaos. Then in 2025, the Tigers have moved to infield chaos. Let’s chart the moves:
Sometimes I think her articles are pure rate bait. And I agree, Keith definitely needs the Torkelson treatment and needs a to be sent to Toledo to figure some stuff out. I think he's got a bright future here, but he's been pretty bad this season so far.She said "did anyone see any of this coming?" My question, who didn't see it coming? Going into spring training, they had question marks at every single infield position. A lot of it their own doing.
Then this comment: "First base is the real puzzle. The Tigers can’t continue to toggle between Colt Keith and his 6-9 year contract and Spencer Torkelson who has only turned into one of MLB’s best hitters this year. Even with the DH option, this strategy won’t fully maximize the talent."
Right now, there shouldn't be any sort of question or "toggling." Maximize talent? Keith has been a turd this year, and Tork has earned the right to be the full time 1B, unless he falls off a cliff. Keith should be a prime candidate to be sent down when Vierling and/or Meadows gets back. His contract shouldn't be an issue either. He's only guaranteed a little more than what Javy makes in a year. He has plenty of time to figure it out.
