Why is Sweeney so damn deep tonight. That's the 3rd double play that he couldn't convert tonight because of it.

He's flat footed on every reaction. As much as I dislike baez, he would've got to every one of them. I really don't get the love for Sweeney. He can't hit and isnt plus enough on defense to make up for it. He's basically Baez lite

I disagree on some of the dp. Padres can run. Most were not hit hard. I agree with some of what you are saying . Not all.

If you ever played the game MLB the Show they talk about hitting streaks all the time. So it's at least on their mind.
