I don't know 951, that might not be terribly far off. I think Caldwell let's his coordinators do their thing. I don't disagree, but we'll never know what might've happened. I was just drawing comparisons to a point in Lions history that was somewhat similar and am happy that Quinn has appeared to do the opposite.- elrod817

All I know is when Millen took over, we were in a similar situation. Gary Moeller was (interim) coach at the time. He had performed well after taking over a team, that if I recall correctly, was starting Stoney Case at points and Stoney definitely played in the ill-fated Paul Edinger field goal...- elrod817

You're absolutely right, which is another reason I don't think Coughlin succeeds here...it's like Bobby Ross all over again. That tough, disciplinarian approach takes time and also players being receptive to it. It's my opinion that we don't have those kind of players.- elrod817

He just doesn't do anything for me, especially this late in his career. We'll never know unless he gets hired, but I don't think the players would respond that well. Stafford's head would explode and he'd go Manziel and be at keggers every night. Calvin would definitely retire. Tate would...- elrod817
