Today's Google Doodle - Scoville scale

I've had both the bhut jolokia and Naga viper. Haven't had anything hotter yet, but I'm always willing to try!

    Caldwell to Return

I would elaborate on my previous posts, but I think eddie did a sufficient job...and my homeboy tony added his stamp of approval. I think someone called him a caveman...he might be, but when a caveman is on your side, it's always a good thing.

    Caldwell to Return

Right because most coaches say, "Yeah, I'm seriously considering firing this guy...just check with me each week and I'll tell all of you, my dear media friends, what's going on behind closed doors."

    Caldwell to Return

He beats all he ever saw, been runnin' from bad calls since the day he was born.

    Caldwell to Return

Hahahaha... I never said his in game decision making was good, in fact that's where he really sucks. It's the intangibles, cheeno, the intangibles. For the record Lao Tzu said, "Don't fucking call timeout."

    Caldwell to Return

For better or for worse Jimmy was giving Lombardi a chance. I know as fans we can get caught up, want improvement right away, fire this guy, fire that guy. But for those guys it's just a job. A boss, a good one anyway, won't just give up on an employee. They want to cultivate talent, they want...

    Caldwell to Return

I don't know 951, that might not be terribly far off. I think Caldwell let's his coordinators do their thing. Some bosses are always peering over shoulders micromanaging and others are hands off, let their people do their job and only step in once necessary. I think Caldwell is more of the...

    Caldwell to Return

I don't disagree, but we'll never know what might've happened. I was just drawing comparisons to a point in Lions history that was somewhat similar and am happy that Quinn has appeared to do the opposite.

    Caldwell to Return

All I know is when Millen took over, we were in a similar situation. Gary Moeller was (interim) coach at the time. He had performed well after taking over a team, that if I recall correctly, was starting Stoney Case at points and Stoney definitely played in the ill-fated Paul Edinger field goal...

    Caldwell to Return

In regard to Cooter: Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Jim Bob Cooter is likely to remain on the coaching staff now that the Lions announced that head coach Jim Caldwell will be retained for another season. Cooter helped QB Matthew Stafford to the most consistent stretch of his seven-year...

    Caldwell to Return

I'm in the minority, but I'm happy with this...not excited about other prospects out there and if Caldwell gets canned mid-season I'll be happy to welcome interim head coach Austin.

    Quinn in as GM

His name doesn't make me giggle every time I hear it the way that Jim Bob Cooter does. Definite strike against him in my book.

    Just a personal note

And what about one of those change.org petitions to get Arizona to change their fucked up law? I'm not the savviest interwebs guy, so I don't know much about creating them, but maybe shine a light on how completely botched this thing has been from point A til now...and maybe shed a little light...

    Just a personal note

ink, glad the truth came to light brother! With my sporadic visits to the board I only caught about half the story, I knew you were facing charges of rape, but didn't realize how convoluted and fucked up the situation actually was. Even then I thought, "how does a guy like ink get accused of...

    Quinn in as GM

Hahaha....I don't remember that...I do remember him inviting all of us to a luxury box though!

    Quinn in as GM

Just private message glover, he should know by now.

    Quinn in as GM

You're absolutely right, which is another reason I don't think Coughlin succeeds here...it's like Bobby Ross all over again. That tough, disciplinarian approach takes time and also players being receptive to it. It's my opinion that we don't have those kind of players.

    Quinn in as GM

It's not sudden, he's been declining the last few years. If he's hired, I'm on his side, but my expectations are low.
  19. elrod817

    Quinn in as GM

Again uninspiring the last few seasons, his best days are behind him...but hey, if it makes you happy...

    Quinn in as GM

He just doesn't do anything for me, especially this late in his career. We'll never know unless he gets hired, but I don't think the players would respond that well. Stafford's head would explode and he'd go Manziel and be at keggers every night. Calvin would definitely retire. Tate would...
