15 longest Home Runs ever hit

My father and later I both worked @ the Michigan Central Depot, a railroad building that was tall and close enough to the late Tiger Stadium, where we could see the upper-deck bleachers and scoreboard from the east side 9th floor up, esp well with the aid of binoculars.

When I was very young, he told me about Mantle's monster tape-measure homer, and I have very little doubt that the baseball traveled any less than at least 600 feet. A few years later, my dad took me to my first baseball game which was a night game vs the Yankees. Mantle, ala Gordie Howe, had Popeye-like forearms.
