Mark Pattison was my classmate throughout grade school and one year of HS (the parochial HS that we attended across the street from the grade school closed for good the following year) Then he attended the same, but much bigger public HS from grades 10-12 as I had, but we weren't classmates. Mark tried to email me once several years ago, but I lost the message somehow. He was one of the brightest students in our class, but he took a lot of bullying b/c of it.

Small world.
That kind of thing went on back then, maybe still to this day in some schools and areas.

I think that he was a founding member and maybe editor of the Mayo Smith Society as well, but not sure. There may be some more books and publications that he authored or was editor regarding the Tigers. I was bullied a bit too, until I grew to be over 6 feet tall by the 9th grade, and filled out a bit, then it stopped..lol.
