Ndamukong Suh - DL - Lions

Ndamukong Suh is expected to be suspended ''at least two weeks'' for his on-field conduct in Week 12.
The suspension will come from the league office and is the first multi-game ban in commissioner Goodell's history since the Albert Haynesworth incident of 2006. According to Schefter, Suh is also required to attend anger management courses as part of a mandated rehab program.

Sounds right. I'm hoping he just gets the 2 games and not 3 since he has to attend anger management courses.

But it's fucking weird he has to attend anger management courses when he does not have any issues off the field. He's just an angry D Tackle when he plays football. Strange.

How about the guy that got kicked for throwing a punch. Isn't that usually a 1 game suspension?

He was already suspended for part of a game that is probably why its not 3 games.

Go watch the video of the play. Him getting kicked out was a joke. If I could post videos I would.

I don't get the anger management part either, not aware of any off the field issues with it, anyone else? Unless they have sports anger management people that specialize in trying to teach how to play with aggression without having to be all crazy mad angry to do it.

They roasted Suh in the pregames today. Basically saying they talked to people at Nebraska and are hearing he had temper problems there too and this is no surprise he always tried to hurt people. BS, like usual they are blowing it way way out of proportion. The guy has had a few questionable hits, but nothing more than following through on a tackle until this incident. Suh had gotten a raw deal before Thursday IMO, but his actions on Thursday prove he is dirty now.

Bottom line, he is hurting his team and now will have to sit a couple games. Let's see what Fairley can do he's started to play great these last couple games. Suh just needs to control his temper a little and he'll be fine. He's letting it get to him now and you know he's a target for both the officials and offensive linemen trying to provoke him. Just play his game and he'll be dominant again.

I had no problem with him getting the boot from that game, and I fully expected a hefty fine to go with it. I think additional suspension is too much, but I get it. The anger management is absurd though. Goodell is a joke. He's trying to turn a nasty game into something PC. If he keeps going down this path, he's gonna end up like the NBA where everybody is friends and the product on the field is shit as a result.

I think when you get kicked, it should be an auto 1 game suspension. 2 in too much.

This is why I said his meeting with Goodell is going to backfire on him. Suh was the dummy who asked for a meeting with him to clarify what is acceptable and what isn't. Now 3 weeks later he does this. He forced Goodell's hand. He has to come down hard on him to demonstarte to the rest of the league that stomping on a guy is never acceptable under any circumstance.

Now the goodell meeting looks like him trying to see what he could get away with. Sometimes you get bit in the ass. Oh well.

The meeting would have been fine if he didnt lose his mind following it....the problem is hes a jackass. The media is doing a hell of a job overblowing things as of late. First they single handedly get joepa fired before hes even found guilty of anything and now they get suh a multiple game suspension for nicking a guys arm with a cleat.

Can't blame the media on either of those situations. Both guys are getting or got what they deserved.

i can pull up about 500 punches to the face in the nfl that didnt warrant any suspensions. A half hearted cleat to the forearm doesnt deserve worse of a punishment imo. It wasnt a "stomp" until the media blew it up into one lol. Every week the media has an article on Suh being a dirty player. Damn straight the media blew this up to be bigger than what it is...and thats why he got 2 games.

i was watching a video on the suspected 2 game suspension today and the wife came into the room and asked me what was going on. I told her one of our players stepped on a guy at the bottom of a pile. She said "so, i thought they were supposed to be football players." lol, i kinda agree....the NFL is lead by a bunch of pussies who turned the game to be full of them. Every play someone cries about a flag....and they usually get it. Suh deserved to be ejected and a fine...thats about it.
