2016 NFL Draft Thread

How is that? There is no way that guy plays on the left side in the NFL.

We dropped the ball already.....needed a LT for a number of reasons and got an average RT.

Woooooohooooooo!

So we upgraded a weak position. A rookie being average for his position is a win. Last I checked they still rush the QB from the right side.

2nd round talent
4th "best" player at his position

16th pick.

Where's our value guru?

I'm okay with a RT but I was hoping for Reiff to be the RT after we went LT. But maybe he can play LT. But Reiff's not really a LT anyway so maybe the new guy does play LT.

I like building the O-line. I like Decker. He was road grading for Elliot. Pass blocking may need improvement. I'm not worried about arm length at all.

Bulld a line and everything else falls into place, it all starts up front, been saying it for years maybe the lions finally got someone in Quinn who gets that

Oh I agree but maybe he is not all that good TD.. I don't follow draft crap like others and while I applaud going after line if he is the 4th best you need to work a deal and move up. Or down and get more picks.

But I hear his feet don't move really good. As a LT you need that to be a good pass blocker.

Outside trading down we had a guy with a 3 year limit, and smoky Joe. We were going to muck this up regardless..

Look at the tape on Decker. His legs are stiff as fuck. He's a terrible athlete....even for his size. I just don't see him being successful at the NFL level.

I hope I'm wrong. I'll root for him because he's gonna wear a Lions jersey......but I don't like that pick.

Ok guys thanks for the info. . NO matter who we pick they are going to be happy because lions are going to the Super Bowl!!!!!!!

So what are you suggesting its better to take the highest rated full back instead of the 4th best LT?

What does it matter his tank in the position.

Riley Reiff was a top 2 player ranked Tackle. Top 15 talent. It means shit..

Are you saying he wouldn't of been selected until our next pick?
Who was your guy for our 16th? What value was there?

Agreed. I'm happy its a position of need.

Shaq Lawson
William Jackson III
Myles Jack
Ryan Kelley

We had plenty of chances to get #16 right. We pulled a Rob Deer (swing and a miss)

Three first round picks on the OL we better not be the 32nd ranked line in the league next year.

Ain't that the damned truth, especially when the other two guys were 3rd rounders.

We might have the highest drafted line in the league on average.

And one of those threes on his best day is the best of all five.
