2016 NFL Draft Thread

Your point? Dallas has a pretty damn good team when Romo is healthy. He isn't really needed to play. If the gamble pays off and he can play in 2017, they just got a top 10 talent in the second round. If he doesn't work out, they're still going to have a good team.

Dallas' D is awful. They have their top two pass rushers suspended for PEDs and let the wife beater go in FA. When the opposing QB is chucking bombs against them next year they can say at least we will have Smith in 2017...maybe.

Yep, kinda happy those 2 DEs went right before Dallas picked, Jerry was trying to trade up to get one of them

For sure. Either would have been a day 1 starter in Dallas. I thought they may reach for Spence.

Still doesn't matter. If tony romo is healthy, they're a playoff team. There is nobody in the second round that could take Dallas from being a bubble playoff team to a championship contender.

The problem here is Romo. You can't trust him to stay healthy.

Even if you're right, Smith wasn't getting out of this round. Some other contender would have snatched him up.

All the DEs are flying off the board. Shilique Calhoun is the only one left i'd consider at 46. Lots of good DTs left if the Lions go that route.

I know it would be rough for some to see two Buckeyes picked, but Bell could be a really good pick. Supposedly he could shift to CB.

Our pick if I had to guess...Kendall Fuller. CB. VT. Or Mack Alexander. CB. Clemson

I like Mackenzie Alexander. He'd be a solid pick. Screw it let's go back to back OL. Get my guy Whitehair and throw him at C

I love Whitehair. I think Quinn is a need picker. He will pick need and pick multiple of that same position. Maybe we take Whitehair?

Call me a homer, but I'd really love to see us take Willie Henry. Not sure he's a second round pick, but I'd take him later. He was just starting to show how dominant he could be. Another year at UM and he might have been a first round pick next year.

I like him as well. Is he second rounder? Probably not, but if he is around in the 3-4 round, why not. I think building the trenches is a great idea.
