2022 Off-Season

You still need that versatile edge that can play opposite Romeo. He can put his hand on the ground when asked. he can walk up. He can cover the flat like we saw Julian/Harris do often last year.

To me that guy is KT much more than its Hutchinson. Hutchinson would be an upgrade over Romeo. And with Romeos big contract im not sure if thats something you want to do.

Grab KT. Grab a LB. You have good young depth on the interior of the dline. Id target Quay Walker at 32 depending on what WRs are still on the board.

Brockers McNeil Levi Romeo
KT LB LB

Agree KT has the higher ceiling. But both are beasts between him and Hutch. Still will run some 3-4

Okudah staying at CB. Both could be back by training camp

Agree we need ILB. Interesting they fired their ILB coach and moved their OLB coach Kelvin Shepphard there. Need to help Barnes develop more for sure but we still need two ILBs. One FA and pick 32 or 34 would be well. Or double dip in Round 3 like the Bengals did with Logan Wilson and Pratt. Lots of options

Good snippet of 12 LBS for the combine

Campbell said he's going back to the 4 man front. It says it fits the team better.

Right.. but that doesn't mean he won't walk up an edge/olb. My point was KT could be that guy.... like a Leonard Floyd on the rams. Aiden would be one of the 4 down lineman. I think KT can do both.

Would you?

Pickett's hands measured 8.5 inches which would be smallest in the league. Not sure how much teams care... but if he drops to 32 would you?

He honestly be the only qb I'd draft at 32.

What point? I haven't looked at this thread in ages.. Just posting what I saw online.

I think there are a lot better fits for the Lions. Cooper has too much diva for this gritty team. This would also be his 9th season. I don't see him being effective by the time we could be legitimate playoff contenders.

It?s the NFL. Should only take 2-3 years to rebuild. We just finished year one.

So Cooper would be past 30 by year 3. We would be looking to replace him at that point. Very few WRs are productive past 30. I would rather take a chance on a rookie than a guy who hasn't produced 1000 yd consistently.

Correct. Last year was year one, this year will be year two. It shouldn?t take 4+ years to turn a franchise around.

the Lions are in year 2 in a re-build that should take 2-3 years and they don't have a QB yet. It's going to take 4 years at least

Cooper would be a huge upgrade for us. I?d take him him for 1-2 years, maybe 3 and then release him after that. It?s not like we?d sign sign him for 5yrs $100mil with $60+ guaranteed.

If it takes 4yrs that?s pathetic and people need to lose jobs. If you don?t have your QB, go get him!

Let?s not forget, Goff is the QB Holmes traded for.

That's the reason it's going to take 4 years...because Goff is the QB. He is not the answer unless the question is: who is an overpaid QB that is average at best?
