2022 Off-Season

That is a shit ton to give up for a 33 year old QB.

It will be interesting to watch what happens to teams like LA and Denver in the next 3-5 years. Are these trades franchise killing moves or can teams recover from giving up so much draft capital for short term success.

It makes us look like an absolute fool with the Stafford trade.

Russ, Mahomes, Herbert and Carr. That?s a division loaded with QB talent.

Stafford never won a playoff game. Russ won a Super Bowl. I understand how the price goes up for Russ. And if Russ hands of to Marshawn, he might be a 2 time Super Bowl champion.

That?s fair. I can agree w that.

Allen Robinson has tweeted twice about Detroit in the last 3 days. Hopefully it means that he is coming home. But most likely he is still a Detroit sports fan since he is from Detroit. You have to be born into this misery.

I don't want anything to do with Allen Robinson the player. Will be 29 when the season starts. Possession receiver at this point in his career. Hasn't had a catch longer than 49 yards in 6 years. I don't think there is THAT much difference between Robinson and Reynolds.

If he want's a 2 year/$12M deal......sure. Anything more than that is wasted cap space.

10.4 million in space created.

He was good in 2019 then injuries of course

Now a scheme change, we have the Okwaras and will draft Hutch or Thibodeaux.

So the cap space for other positions more important

I don?t think the Lions would take Thibodeaux?. My feeling is that if Hutchinson is gone they will take Kyle Hamilton.

find a way to land Devin Lloyd and Jameson Williams. It wont be at 2...but somewhere in the 10-25 range. I dont want anyone projected in the top 10. Id live with KT if were stuck at 2.

A safety at #2, sounds like us.

If that happens we?d draft a TE, CB and Safety with top 10 picks the last 4-years and have holes everywhere. Lol

I?d be all for Lloyd or Dean.

No criminal charges for Watson. Was exactly what I thought w some willing ladies trying to collect a free paycheck.

Go get your guy Holmes!

Goff/Okudah/3 1st should get the attention of Houston.

Lions resigned
Evan Brown
Tim Boyle 1 year2 million
CJ Moore for ST

Like 2 of them but not a Boyle fan. Cheap backup though

Not sure what to make of the Boyle signing. If they draft a QB high, I wouldn?t expect Boyle to see the field at all, but the guaranteed money probably makes him a shoe-in for a roster spot (coaching staff seems to like him). That signals to me they either won?t draft a QB, or pick a later project. Just thinking out loud, probably just a meaningless move.

Yeah I guess Boyle could still be number 3 at that money. But it gives Detroit options I guess. FA is before draft so might as well get Boyle back over a higher priced vet

i dont expect them to draft a QB. Roll with Goff and hope he stays healthy. Fill out the squad around him.
