Can't imagine how any American can be 100% all in for either party, since there is only one of them. Biden's "gotcha" on Medicare and Social Security is a drop in the ocean compared to his ultimate apparent goal of complete subjugation of the American Citizen to government control, under the guise of "equity" "fair share" and "taxing the rich."

that was a "gotcha" moment? He said what the majority of republican leaders have said...that those programs would not be cut. He even said in his babbling speech that only a few said they wanted the programs cut...well, he almost got it out.

I do wonder if he said anything of substance. How's that inflation reduction act working? Is anything better since he took office?

even the article you posted said this "CNN noted in a release that presidential addresses tend to attract viewers who are more supportive of the president"

Also, most voters didn't even watch the speech. According to the ratings, only 38M people watched which is about 11% of the population

For the record, I?ve only voted for a major party candidate for president once in the last 40 years in the general election.

That?s probably not going to change in 2024.

Two weeks before the California primary, I expect I?ll register as a Republican and vote for the candidate who has the best chance to beat Trump for the nomination.
