2024 Election

Orange traitors DC trial for trying to overthrow our Democracy is starting March 4th, 2024.

He's going to be a convicted felon before next Summer.

Has anyone on this board ever posted ?Trump is my first choice? before he was elected?

I didn?t care a lick which criminal was elected in 2016. I accepted the election results.

I?ve said that I wondered why then Dems didn?t nominate J?Biden before he was senile when they he had the chance. Going into the 2020 election I would have preferred Trump - not by much - then Jan 6 lowered my opinion of Trump below what I would have imagined would be possible.

We are literally a banana republic.

I definitely didn't want that psychopath Hillary in the Oval Office. However, the Schadenfreude of her occupying space where her husband "didn't have sexual relations" is tempting to consider.

Biden was too inept to be VP in 2009. He was ushered out of contention in 1988 over the now seemingly benign offense of plagiarism. But, like a persistent pimple, he just kept popping up, and over and over again.

Actually, there are not very many things more fun than schadenfreude.

It?s like when Michigan eliminates Ohio State or Notre Dame - or even the occasional time it happens against the Spartans ? from national championship in contention.

That?s how much fun schadenfreude is.

True. But I don't know if beating an opponent is schadenfreude. I thought schadenfreude was more of passive thing... watching something bad happen to an enemy, not actually beating them yourself.

Schadenfreude is watching MSU's hilariously bad and stupid contract with Mel Tucker blow up on them.

I worked on an Eminem video about 25 years ago. He's a surly type, or was that night. I didn't approach or acknowledge him in any way. Not that I wanted to ... the entire experience was off-putting.

Were I running for president, my theme song would be Our National Anthem.

That?s not a bad choice.

If you?re going to run as a Republican, you might want to focus on the third stanza.

You?re already not going to get any of the black vote anyway.

He's apparently mellowed out over the course of his life and career. I read his wikipedia bio recently, and I can't blame him for having a fucked up early adulthood, given how his childhood went. But it seems he's straightened himself out, and took not only his own daughter, but half brother & nieces and nephews that were being neglected under his wing and raised them all, formally adopting the ones from the younger generation.

The nebulous "third stanza." Several explanations are posited; none of them validated.

I thought it was obvious, but from the record, Vivek Ramaswamy grew up in a Hindu Brahmin Caste wealthy family. He then went to Harvard, and then used his connections, "charm," and presumably family wealth to found companies to buy up ineffective drug patents, (this part is alleged) have his doctor mother "doctor" new studies of the drugs claiming they were effective, sell stocks in his companies to investors based on those studies, DUMP the stock at the inflated prices, and then run around telling everyone he was a successful billionare company founder.
