2024 Election

Huge difference between flubbing your words once is a while and going on long rants that make absolutely zero sense.

Besides that, even when Trump speaks coherently, he's still an absolute moron. Lets go back to a favorite of mine, Trump and Obama announcing the death of a terrorist leader.

Different styles of elocution.

Both got the job done.

I?m giving praise around.

LOL, you think Biden isn't a moron? The guy was the laughing stock of the party for decades. Obama made him VP bc he was a clown and would pose no threat to him as he wrested control of the party from the Clintons. Then you fools elevated him to POTUS as a senile old man.

LOL2, you think Biden doesn't go on long rants, flubbing words and rambling incoherently like a toddler.

He used to have a mullet too. That's a pretty big gaffe.

Also al Qaeda and Osama Bin Laden supposedly advocated assassinating Barack Obama... but only because then Biden would be president and they saw that as a disaster (LINK)

If that's true, in 2020 when Obama and the DNC knifed Bernie in the back and arranged for every other candidate to drop out and endorse Biden at the same time, they were furthering Al Qaeda strategy >:D

why are teachers' unions taking a side in the Israel/Hamas conflict?

Teachers Want the Largest Union in the Country to Rescind its Biden Endorsement Over Gaza

Apparently this isn't a new thing. A quick Bing search shows that teachers' unions have been weighing on this since the beginning.

If I was a teacher, I'd have some real questions about how my union money was being spent. Actually, if I was a teacher, I would have opted out of the union then when I saw this headline I'd say "see, I told you you these people were wasting your money on graft, fraud and now you can add political issues they should just shut the f*** up about" to my fellow teachers dumb enough to cough up the dues to the slimeballs that run these unions.

Since we're asking questions, why did Jared Kushner get 2 billion from the Saudi Crown Prince? Why did Trump receive 8 million from foreign governments? Why did a binder full of top secret intel regarding Russia go missing in the days before Trump left the White House?

Hey, nice deflection. When someone points out something you don't have an answer for, pivot to Orange Man Bad...

LOL, OK. You realize Kushner got that deal from Saudi Arabia AFTER Trump left office, right? Granted, Kushner's track record as a fund manager isn't great but at least he actually has experience doing it.

It's quite comical that that worries you but you're not at all curious Hunter Biden, a crack addict with no experience managing money money beat out the world's top fund managers to score a $1.2B investment from CCP sovereign funds?

Are you at all concerned that Hunter, while addicted to crack was able to score $1mm/yr board seat on Burisma with literally no experience in the oil & gas industry. Are you able to connect the dots b/w that job and his old man bragging on camera about getting the Ukranian prosecutor who was investigating Burisma fired? Or what about concerns over the billions we sent to Ukraine coming back to the US as investments in FTX which were then taken by Bankman Fried and poured into Dem super PACs for the 2022 election? I know, I know - that's a crazy conspiracy theory that's already been debunked by Sam Bankman Fried and AT LEAST one Ukranian official.

But Jared Kushner got a $2B deal after his father-in-law left office and racked up 91 totally legit felony charges. That should concern us...

Look what I just got in the mail today. Think I'll head over to the library tomorrow and make a few hundred extra copies since that's what Democrats do with mail in ballots. Never mind the control number at the top, I'm sure nobody will notice receiving 201 ballots with the same number.

sad, Joe Biden is the best you can do. Both sides are going to have really shitty candidates.

Biden is the incumbent and running again. What's sad is the other side propping up a piece of shit criminal facing 91 felony charges. They have the opportunity to pick someone else and are hitching their wagon to the most disgraceful person to ever hold office.

Not sticking up for Trump, but there have been a lot of disgraceful presidents in our history. He is one of them. I'm embarrassed that he is the one that is going to be selected as the R nominee. I'm just as embarrassed that we currently have a bumbling idiot that doesn't know what he is doing or saying as our current President. The question that needs to be answered is do I want a bumbling idiot that doesn't know where he is, and has many political beliefs that I feel are not in the best interest of myself, and our country? Or, a man that feel is a disgraceful asshole but he does have many political leanings that I do agree with? Basically, we are going to have two terrible choices.

Biden just gave a speech yesterday and sounded just fine and coherent to me. No idea why it's so hard for people around here to stick to the facts.

Killian Hayes had a good game once. Doesn't change the FACT Biden is incoherent.

Well if the right wing memes and Fox say so, I guess it must be true.

Meanwhile, Trump can no longer tell the difference between Pelosi and Haley and goes around bragging about identifying a whale on a cognitive test, something the creator of the test says isn't even on it. When he does have a moment of clarity, he spends it ranting about the 2020 election and seeking revenge on anyone who dares cross him.

But you're right, Biden is clearly the one to worry about.

I didn't bring in Trump at all.. That's a conversation you had with others. Focus man.

Trump did a pretty funny imitation of a Biden press conference recently. You do gotta hand it to the guy... he's still got it.

He made some crack about the press asking Biden some easy questions about ice cream. Apparently he wasn't exaggerating. (link).

I really cannot find the audio of the speech... it was good though. It was at a recent rally he did. They played it on a podcast (NOT Pod Save America... I do not listen to that crap. It was on Chapo Trap House... the best podcast, period, about anything)

I'm focused on the two candidates that you'll have to choose from come November. That is the subject of this thread, correct?

I wasn't. Just one aspect of it. I could talk about the new baseball sim I've been trying and somehow Trump would get mentioned.

Biden just gave a speech yesterday and sounded just fine and coherent to me. No idea why it's so hard for people around here to stick to the facts. But he flubs his words once in a while so that means he's obviously suffering early stage dementia and Obama is secretly running the county. I believe that's the popular conspiracy theory these days.

He "flubs his words once in a while"? We must be watching two different people.

It's funny, I can't seem to find any comments where you've gone after a Trump supporter for constantly bringing up Joe, Hunter and the host of stupid conspiracy theories they bring to the table.

But sure, you're just being a neutral observer here and you don't like either side.

I don't post in this section a lot. I am by definition a conservative. Not hard right like I was in my youth and I didn't want Trump running again but honestly not sure there are better canidates. In the Arizona primary's back in 2016 I didn't vote for Trump.

Biden is a moron. Trump doesn't change that narrative.

Once again proving how you believe every single lie and conspiracy theory put out there.

I notice you once again have no evidence to support your "facts"

Calling for Shokin's removal was the official policy of the US government - That's a fact.

You sure about that? Documents show that to be false

From the piece:

The government memos...contradict the prevailing narrative put forward by Democrats arguing that Biden?s threat in December 2015 to withhold US loan guarantees for Ukraine in exchange for the ouster of Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin from office was consistent with US policy goals.

Several officials in the weeks leading up to Biden?s December 2015 visit to Kyiv had said they were ?impressed? with the ?progress? Shokin?s office had made in the preceding months.

One of the documents setting forth conditions for the loans, drafted one month before the vice president?s trip, listed no issues with granting the funds and said nothing about firing the prosecutor.

Reports of the threat to condition the loan guarantees also came as a surprise to US officials in January 2016, as Biden?s warning apparently leaked in the Ukrainian press.

Here's another piece with more quotes from the Obama administration re: Shokin at the time Biden went rogue and got him fired.

Oops. That's NOT a fact. In fact, it seems to be the opposite of the actual fact.

Republican members of Congress signed a letter calling for Shokin's removal - That's a fact

This may be a fact, I'm not saying it is, even if it is it's also meaningless.

Edit: turns out this also isn't what you think it is. 3 Republicans (out of 51) and 5 Democrats signed a letter stressing the need for reform in Ukraine. According the this Huffpo piece (not exactly a far right source), the letter but it doesn't specify what those reforms are. It mentions the Prosecutors office and the Judiciary (why it doesn't name the whole of the Ukranian government is a mystery) but does NOT explicitly name Shokin or call for his removal.

Oops. That's also NOT a fact.

The European Union and other Western countries had been calling for Shokin's removal for months - That's a fact

The European Union is heavily reliant on natural gas from Ukraine and they're in bed with all these oligarchs. Shocking that they would want to get rid of the guy investigating all their suppliers of cheap gas! It's not Biden's job to do the bidding of the EU.

The former US Ambassador to Ukraine and others testified to Congress that Shokin was corrupt - That's a fact

I read Pyatt's interview with the Committee on Homeland Security - it's full of a bunch of "it was 5 years ago" and "i don't recall exactly when" but you know what's not full of? Anything to back up his claims re: the supposed shift in policy on Shokin, nor is it corroborated by a single document or email anywhere.

Shokin's deputy testified that Burisma was not under investigation - That's a fact

So a deputy from one of the most corrupt governments in the world testified, that's impressive. You know what else is a fact, Shokin himself said he was investigating Burisma and that Biden got him fired for it. It's also a fact that an FBI informant told investigators the President of Burisma said he paid Hunter and Joe Biden $5mm each to get Shokin fired. That's probably OK though because the EU wanted him fired too.

You should really stick to the kiddie pool as you are out of your depths trying to pass off your silly ass talking points to someone who actually takes the time to actually understand the facts.

Now go ahead and once again try to deflect away from having to actually respond to the facts as just laid out for you because you know you don't have a damn thing to dispute anything of what I just laid out. Go ahead and ignore the facts by calling them lies and continue thinking that you're right because you really want to be.

No deflection, just bringing the facts...unlike you, obviously

New Transcript Blows Up James Comer?s Entire Hunter Biden Argument
A new transcript from a key Hunter Biden witness undercuts many of the claims Republicans are making about ?Biden corruption.?

https://newrepublic.com/post/178330/new-transcript-blows-up-james-comer-hunter-biden-argument

Anyone with even half a brain has known for a long time that it was all BS, but it's still good to see more proof of that coming out. Comer is a disgrace.

Looks like the New Republic hasn't done much to clean up it's act since the whole Steven Glass thing. Anyway, I don't think that testimony does what you or the New Republic thinks it does - I'm not totally surprised given what you've tried to pass off as "proof" so far, but I don't see how any intelligent person could say Hunter's lawyer friend testifying that he expects to be repaid by Hunter for the $5mm loan proves Hunter and Joe Biden aren't corrupt.

Edit: did you read this piece or just see the headline and run here thinking it was a big gotcha? None of it makes any sense - Morris claiming he loaned Hunter Biden $5mm, which Hunter obviously spent and now owes but then he says Hunter never asked him for the money. "Morris would voluntarily send money through his lawyers to Hunter?s, but the younger Biden did not ask him to do so." That sounds like a gift, not a loan and now Morris may have some gift taxes due if Hunter denies ever asking for the loan. He goes on to say the only time he gave money directly to Hunter is when he bought two of Hunter's paintings. I hope he didn't overpay, oh wait it's literally impossible not to.

It's truly bizarre how you get fooled by this nonsense. I suggest you start reading articles instead of just the headlines.

Mayorkas (DHS Secretary) admits 85% of illegal border crossers apprehended at the southern border are being released into the US. So crossings are up 4x and 85% get to stay (85% of the ones we catch). Border patrol agents say their job has changed from border enforcement to assisting, facilitating criminal access to the country. That sounds like a secure border, and a sustainable immigration policy, and totally fair to the people who try to come here legally, not to mention the people paying for the free healthcare, education and other services...I don't know what the right is whining about.

How shocking, you totally ignored the facts and instead cherry picked one article and presented it as the truth even though it goes against literally all the other information available. Then you just ignore everything you can't counter. Hilarious though that you spent all day putting your presentation together.

https://www.axios.com/2023/12/12/biden-impeachment-claims-explained-viktor-shokin

I think you're the on that cherry picked a totally irrelevant piece from a NYT article (the prosecutor saying Hunter "could" still be prosecuted for crimes his deal says in writing that he had immunity from) and you conveniently left out the bit about that immunity being removed from the plea deal in the hopes the judge wouldn't notice. How you fall for this stuff is amazing to me.

I like how you're watching the time stamps - I have a job and a family, I don't spend all day here waiting for you to reply with a new post dumber than the previous post. I'm certain it will happen, I just get to it when I get to it.
