Is it that uncommon for a generally uncontested incumbent to not participate in nomination primaries?

RNC cancelled all of their official primary debates for 2020 and in the unofficial debates Trump didn't show up either. I don't remember before 2020, but I would think it would be a bad idea to drag your candidate down unnecessarily before the actual election.

I don't like Biden and wish he wasn't running but to get angry because you can't get angry at the things he might do during a debate that would make you angry seems like a waste of energy.

'Woke' is used in FAR more contexts other than sexual identification.

If that's your major hang up, keep fighting the good fight. But if being woke/anti woke was simply a transgender issue, I wouldn't let a buzzword annoy me so much.

I posted the number of actual sex change operations in this country & it's absurdly small, given the amount of ink being spilt over this. And it's particularly egregious given the amount of truly insane and troubling things going on right now.

Some people actually seem convinced that 150 or so Americans getting sex change operations per year, or a few thousand taking hormone pills is a bigger deal than a pandemic (supposedly "over" even though death rates are like 2-4 times higher than normal), we're funding and basically leading a war with Russia right on their border, and actively trying to foment one with China on their border with Taiwan... this is nuts.


And even if you STILL think transgender issues are a big deal, in the context of our global empire collapsing and everything going to shit here, how do you square your concern with a few hundred people getting sex change operations in a nation of more than 330 million with the long term "conservative" views of allowing personal freedom and keeping government regulation out of our private lives?

And at some point, does anyone here even know anyone who has had issues with a transgender person using the bathroom or whatever? Like at some point don't you stop and say "This is so fucking remote from my actual day to day existence, I really don't care"?

Those numbers are definitely low. What's scary about this that your three seconds of "research" shockingly didn't reveal to you is they're growing exponentially as are the number of kids identifying as trans/nonbinary. According to a study published in JAMA Pediatrices, in 2018 there were 489 double mastectomies performed on healthy teenagers, up from 100 in 2016. That data is 5 years old and had almost quintupled in 2 years before there was national attention around the issue. The idea that it's only a couple hundred kids a year is absurd.

What's even scarier that your deep dive into the phenomenon somehow also didn't reveal to you, is children's hospitals and medical professionals are talking about it as a growth industry and how they're eager to profit handsomely from the irreversible mutilation of children. That's as sick and depraved as it gets.

This is not some error in biology or nature that needs surgery or hormone therapy, it's a mental health issue amplified by social contagion that needs to be treated by serious mental health experts not activists pushing an agenda. Any serious psychologist will tell you "affirmation" is not a proper standard of care.

What's not at all surprising about it is how you think this doesn't matter because there's a war in Ukraine. Serious question - how many kids need to be irreversibly mutilated to meet your standard for this to be "a big deal?"

Transgender is a subset of the larger issue, which is depopulation. One of many tactics at play. So is everything else you mentioned in this response. Wars are good at that. And the US is good at waging war. This shouldn't be a revelation or a surprise to anyone.

An infestation like this must be stopped before we are overrun with being forced to accept this lunacy. Just observe the governments of Europe -- especially Ireland -- and the retarded government of neighbor to the north (with the exception of the vantage point from Detroit) for the "creep" of suppression of opposition to the possibility that someone can alter their gender.
