Get Startedlooks like cousins is finally going to get his shot this year, hope he stays healty
RGIII is an awful QB, just because you draft someone early in the draft doesn't mean he's necessarily a better option to run your team than someone drafted lower. If you have eyes it's very obvious that Cousins is the better QB.
We both know that but reams don't always move on from the sunk cost of a player. They've invested a top draft pick and a ton of money into him so they would stick with him way too long, even if it hurts them.RGIII is an awful QB, just because you draft someone early in the draft doesn't mean he's necessarily a better option to run your team than someone drafted lower. He's damaged goods now as good as he looked as a rookie. He already had an ACL injury in college and then pretty much ruined himself by continuing to play in that playoff game his rookie year.
I know a member of the former WAS staff (now elsewhere, coaching a Sparty in the NFL) who said Cousins should have been playing ahead of RG-3 all along but for pressure from Snyder.
Not surprising
Imo, Cousins is the only one of the three with long term potential.
