Anibal's contract could look like a bargain if not a steal in ~2 years, should baseball players' salaries continue to escalate. Perhaps the luxury cap will need to be lifted/raised to $$$200MM or maybe even more per year in order to accommodate this by ~'15. Or if ticket and concessions prices continue to rise b/c the franchise owners pass some if not much of the costs onto their fans who attend the games, and attendance begins to noticeably/significantly decline as a result overall, then MLB might be forced or decide to lockout the players prior to ST or the start of a season in order to negotiate and establish a salary cap perhaps several years from now, if not sooner.
