feels pretty good. This next week is the big test though. Can we go to EL and bring home the 7th win? If denard plays like he did in the second half...absolutely. 35-27 Michigan. Sparty gets their 3rd straight loss in the two major college sports to us.

If Denard plays smart like he did in the second half, we're a good fucking offense against anyone. And I don't hate denard. If you haven't noticed, i've had two different pictures with Denard in my profile. He's exciting, but he has to stay consistent passing the ball.

I think even if they keep it close and lose, it could be a sign to a good season and better than expected by most fans.. Most of the pressure is on the Spartans to win IMO..

I support this team, even through the RR years. But I will complain if I see something that is obviously hurting the team. I'm a fan of Denard and what he does with his feet, but his decision making can be horrible at times. When he plays like he did in this second half, he's pretty unstoppable. Problem is, it's not consistent. When he's not on, he's way off.

I agree with you Monster. I am a fan of this team win or lose. I love Denard he is special but he needs to understand when to not force things. He has to have good footwork. I knew right when I saw him throw off his back foot last night that it was picked. he has a better arm that people think but it isnt good enough to do that. He cant predetermine throws and lock onto a WR. he must go through his progressions. I will say he is getting better. I see a big difference in his play the last few weeks. This week will be our biggest test of the year. MSU is more talented than we are top to bottom. Our coaches are better top to bottom. And I believe MSU needs to win more than U of M does. Hoke is almost already playing with house money this year. he has this team playing and performing better than we expected. I said 8 wins to start the year and now 8 wins would be a disappointment. I believe in this team and this staff. We will be a power again and it will be sooner rather than later.

You are dead on! The pressure is really on MSU to win on Saturday. They have more talent, are at home, and have had a bye week. If it wasn't for the stupid pollsters MSU should be favored in this game.

As far as Denard is concerned. He has the ability to be an excellent QB. Many say it is footwork, which I agree, but I think the interceptions are more of a failure for him to go through his progression. At times he just sees a receiver, keys in on him, and throws it, regardless if he is double or tripled covered. When he settles down, he goes through his progression, then he makes better decisions, until then he will continue to throw picks.
