Ha - I thought about defending the pronoun in the context of the posts but after proofreading that attempt it seemed that you could interpret it with a prickish "that should have been obvious" tone so i just left it alone

At least you got a chance to, through my erroneous initial reading of your post, get caught up on a humorous politics board theme.

Notice MichChamp didn't miss a beat to jump all over that shit in post #112.

When you're not being hostile, you're actually quite humorous and amusing, and as a moderator to this forum, I'm calling on you to join in and participate in this humorous theme as often as is appropriate.

In my own defense, I like to think I'm only hostile when returning hostility in-kind - and that I'm often particularly humorous and amusing in those circumstances! Point taken.

And point given - I do see what could be a fine line between humor and hostility between different perspective posters frequently.

But the whole "Red will read you the riot act" theme has always been pretty much nothin' but fun.

I get that - similarly, my reply that mc and thumb "criticized" Obama for not being liberal enough was in a vein of mostly sarcasm (mostly).

I wonder what that said before you edited it?

I'm guessing it was another unfunny & angry rant with a lot of name-calling.

No, it originally said "Dude, that was a classic 'michchamp'

refer to post 47 of the "he served his country..." thread for the definition if you don't know what that means."

I wonder when you're going to pick up on the fact that I only start name-calling after you do it which also explains why you're pretty much the only person I call names. Makes me laugh every time you accuse me of resorting to it.

He'll never pick it up. There are a few guys like that around here.

no he's not

It's more in the non-political discussions.

My favorite is when he replied to byco, when byco expressed that it was inconceivable that SpartanMack could root for both Michigan State and Michigan because byco feels that a person can only have one team to root for "so you're saying that a person cannot include amongst their favorite things both raindrops on roses and whispers on kittens? - no...the person must choose..."

It was pretty funny...

He has a lot of funny ones.

You're funnier too when you pull it back a notch.

Credit when credit is due. That was a fine piece of moderating.

Ha - I forgot about that one. I think it went something like "do you also have the same complaint about that song from Sound of Music. No no no, you must choose between..."

Thanks for the reminder - I was thinking the masterbation joke was my best work on DSF but I may have to reconsider that...

Maybe you think your soliloquy on masturbation is your best, but I doubt anybody else does...

I like Spartymack ...and whispers on kittens.

I do not like douche bags from Ohio who themselves have no sense of humor and take a joke about drinking to mean I'm a neglectful father.

For that you can gently - or roughly - go fuck yourself.

Not to diss anyone but a moderator on the politics forum is about as useful as a smoked virginia ham at a bar mitzvah.

I guess if he's being a moderator but if he's just being tinsel it's usually well timed (often needed) levity.

You guys know Tinsel is a comedy writer, right??

And a sweet ventriloquist!
