65 Conservative Celebrities

My post that you just replied to doesn't say that you think everyone here is a liberal.

I wasn't replying to a post of yours that "has to do with (you) making a sarcastic comment about liberals 'criticizing' Obama."

I replied to this.

It's just a little back story on MichChamp and Thumb "complaining" that Gulo isn't liberal enough.

Again, it's part of a running gag.

Got it. In that case, it appears to be a simple misreading of my post - when I said "he" I was referring to Obama, not Gulo.

I'm not conservative. I'm Catholic. For the record.

Didn't you once on ESPNsucks say you were 'arch-conservative' but then explain how that didn't make you a Bush voter...?

Just curious ..of course we're talking 12-13yrs posting now

I do not recall using that term, I may have, but that's not how I describe my beliefs today. I don't even know what "conservative" means anymore.

thats why i've been bitching to ppl around me personally that every single governor from Blanchard to Snyder could have done more to prevent what's happened to Michigan and Detroit. bring jobs in from other states or countries and never did it.

You make it sound so simple. Maybe you should run for Governor, seems like you have all the answers.

if u had any intelligence i was stating the same thing about republicans defending their ppl like they had their nuts in their mouths.

I personally couldn't care less what side of the aisle a president is as long as they do the right thing

Oh.

Both Gulo and Obama were mentioned the post by michiganalex you replied to; yes I thought when you referred to "him (he actually)" you meant Gulo.

So that's what happened.

no i know it isnt simple but it seems like they could have done more. at least show that they tried

I may be misremembering but I recall even back then you're making a distinction between being "conservative" and being a "Republican."

Either way, I know my political beliefs have changed since starting to post so many years ago, as might anyone's and I'm not a Black/White categorized one either.

If I ever claimed to be "republican" I'm sure it was with a small "r."

Does that question presume the film itself is completely factual and devoid of spin - you know like "insert name of Michael Moore film here"?

To my knowledge, no one has disputed any of the assertions made in the film. THe burden is on them.

It's easy enough to do. Calling the filmmakers names of course may work for you and your crowd, but if Scott walker and the kochs have other evidence lets see it.

Of course it is Mr. Rule of Law - guilty until proven innocent.

From what I know of the Koch brothers, they're very private people. They don't give interviews and they don't give public responses to attacks like these. As long as what they do is legal, it's not of my business or yours what they do with their money so I imagine their response to your request for evidence would be something like "no". If you and your crowd think that means they're guilty of being bad people, you're probably not a very good lawyer. By the way, I never called the filmakers names - I would have to fact check their assertions before I did something like that and I haven't seen the film. You should try fact checking sometime - you may not end up looking so stupid so often.

That's the criteria? Legal? That's not a fixed criteria. If we're talking about rich people and politics, what's legal is more inclusive each year.
