That's just it - if your skin color matches the targeted audience, you're coming from a place of genuine concern. If you don't have the right skin color, then the only way you can be coming from a place of genuine concern is if you support the welfare policies of the left.

Okay here's the skinny- a long time ago tstupid posted that he was the only conservative on the board. Thumb replied to him that that was ridiculous-that KAWDUP byco, this Ty Cobb guy and one other, I forget but it wasn't Blue (who used to be Red if you don't know) were other conservative.

Blue, who used to be more conservative than liberal, at least it seems so to me, responded "so I don't count?" and Thumb responded that he was probably the most moderate person on the board.

Anyway, time passes, and tstupid gets bannedd for a while, comes back, and start this thread "is this an all liberal board?" And MichChamp mockingly replies "yes; and describes byco and KAWDUP as being left-wing agitators; said that Tinsel hides behind a pretext of "non-partisan" and. "Libertarian" well routinely shouting down any conservative voice that has ever come on the board.

So Thumb chines in "don't forget Red, or he'll read you the riot act."

And Gulo and fact posted a link to the riot act.

All this happened before you came along. It is a bit of a running gag.

A lot of those charitable white guys sitting in the clubhouse telling off color jokes are my clients ...Mickelson to name just one. I haven't hung out with Phil, but I have spent time around the PGA -- tangent notwithstanding -- most all are Rep and because of many reasons. Charitable giving is wonderful. For the record, I still consider myself to be conservative leaning. It just looks less and less like it as the republicans keep getting dumber candidates elected and in the news. I'm not going to defend them just because they pay lip service to being conservative.

No. That science denier thing I posted did me some good. I was glad to see the Daily Show say what I've been saying about there being lefty science deniers. I'm aware of much of the dynamic and ideological breakdown at DSF - and I know Blue is not a leftie. But I don't see what that has to do with me making a sarcastic comment about liberals "criticizing" Obama. I don't think everyone here is liberal or that the post I quoted says everyone here is liberal.

By the way, that chart in the middle does more to explain the charts on either side than your boy who cried wolf racism bullshit. Of course, in your mind, merely acknowledging the decline of family values or the fact that since these "social safety net" of welfare was put in place there has been an EXPLOSION of children born out of wedlock in poor communities is clearly racist.

there's more to the poverty and crime of African-American communities than just failing to take personal accountability for their actions, like Bill Cosby said. What he said was not wrong, but when applied to people practically growing up in a war zone, with underfunded & neglected schools, etc. it's kind of stupid...

thats why i've been bitching to ppl around me personally that every single governor from Blanchard to Snyder could have done more to prevent what's happened to Michigan and Detroit. bring jobs in from other states or countries and never did it.

That one above is post #60 which says nothing about the basic premise of Cosby's argument, just that if you're white and you say anything similar, you're an uncaring racist. Your charts aren't any less of straw man to that post. Nice try.

And I know you struggle mightily with math, but that chart on the left shows that on average income for blacks has grown faster than that for whites as they've gone from making less than half as much as whites to 55%. We have a long way to go, but that chart actually shows progress.
