Yeah Ron, it's just as ridiculous as complaining as much as everyone has about who batted second in 1 freaking game. And for all that bitching, it still ended up being tied for the highest OBP for the game.

With all the problems this team has, who bats second, and with what average means next to nothing.

Yet someone had to make a new thread about it a day after it actually happened.

I know......what you see here as well as any other Tigers forum, message board, comments section at a Detroit media or blogger site, is that most fans are so frustrated.
The mere mention or inclusion of certain players....raburn, kelly, delmon, coke, as a starter, where they bat in the lineup, is enough to set most everyone off.

Yes there would. The JL haters would complain that he put a lefty in the 2 hole when he had some right handed hitters on the bench.

but for the love of God, not Raburn. if it wasn't for expanding the lineup,I don't think they'd had made room for him. specially just coming off the DL.

So we should have an uproar if Miggy goes 0-4? Raburn shouldn't be playing regardless if he gets a hit now and again.

Did it cost us the game, no. But I'm certainly not going to give Leyland credit.

Pure luck. You play a guy who shouldn't play in a spot he shouldn't be in once in a while good things will happen. Leyland didn't do anything right. He got lucky.

Offense sucked, and not because Raburn batted 2nd, and Porcello fell apart, and not because Raburn made an error.

Funny how Leyland always gets off easily with you apologists. It really is..

Who cares if Raburn got on base twice? Who cares if Porcello fell apart like he ususlly does? Who cares if the offense sputtered? Its the fn fact that he puts in a guy who is absolutely fn horrific at baseball in a spot (2hole) where you have a chance for more AB's. It's fn moronic to say the least and words can't desrcibe it.
