I would be much more surprised if ARoid hadn't dragged down anyone and everyone else with him who had @ least some involvement in this scandal. There is overwhelming evidence that he is an unlikeable uber-narcisstic boorish egomaniac creep on and off the field, on a level with Bonds, Clemens, and perhaps Sheffield to name just a recent few. Not that those involved didn't deserve to be caught and exposed, but obviously not at first by him and his paid henchmen...err...lackeys.

What he did served his purpose quite well...to very quickly broaden the scope of MLB's investigation, and to help virally spread the brightening glare of the sports MSM's spotlight onto other cheating players besides himself.

I don't get the outrage. People have vented and complained for weeks about cheaters and stuff and getting them out of the game, so why does anyone care that Arod (or his lawyers/PR team actually) thew them under the bus?

I agree. the PED thing did not make Arod an asshole in my eyes, he always was.

The kind of guy who would run across a pitchers mound after grounding out. Or yell "I GOT IT" when going from second to third on a popup with 2 outs, and laughing as the SS lets the ball drop.

Arod is a first class prick, taking PED's didn't really have much to do with that.
