Boone said he liked the Tigers to reach the WS because our pitching matched up well with Boston and NY. He said they basically have question marks after their ace as do we but he liked our number two and three guys better.

Boone family may be a tad more appreciative of the Tigers due to past years of connection to Detroit.....but even if so it could never even out the centering up most of the media does with the ALE.

I would prefer New York as well, but with a big park such as Comerica we should be able to do okay against Boston. They have sluggers, but not much for pitching.

I'd rather face Boston in the first round.

I feel they are better than NY, and would rather face the better team in a 5 game series.

We are 4-1/2 games behind Boston right now. Why not just catch and pass them and Texas? The way we are playing it's possible.
