Niners have a whole bunch of issues. Not sure why it's so hard for some dudes not to get physical with a woman but it is.

Police in Northern California say San Francisco 49ers defensive lineman Ray McDonald has been arrested on domestic violence charges.

San Jose police Sgt. Heather Randol says the 29-year-old defensive end was taken into custody early Sunday after officers responded to a home in an upscale neighborhood at 2:48 a.m. local time.

McDonald was jailed on felony domestic violence charges.

He has been playing for San Francisco since he was drafted as a third round pick in 2007.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell announced tougher punishments last week for players convicted of domestic violence

You do that now and the Goodell hammer will come down to a possible lifetime ban. About time they did this..

It's going to be real interesting to see how they handle these situation. So how do they determine who is guilty and who is innocent of these charges? Obviously Ray Rice admitted to his girlfriend/wife beating but how will it play out with other guys? Glad they are trying to do something about it though and implementing a big penalty. Playing in the NFL is privilege. Seems very easy not to beat up your wife or some random chick. I've yet to come close to committing that offense and can't imagine being in a situation where it's ever an issue.

NFL is it's own entity, not the law. They don't need to prove guilt.
