ALDS Game 1: Tigers @ Indians- Oct 05 10:08 a.m. MST

Well he's not a reliever
Yet he knew he was going on after the opener well in advance, which isn’t much different than starting. The several month injury hiatus combined with probable nerves plays a part. Now our hitters need to get focused quickly, or this game disappears into their bullpen.

He had 2 quality starts vs Cleveland. Using an opener was dumb. Bringing him in out of the pen for the first time today just doesn't make sense. Huge difference between starting with a clean inning vs coming into a shithole.

He wasn’t on a pitch limit when he made those two quality starts; both were before he was injured. Hind sight is always 20/20, though; I guess we should have all known that our opener would implode today.

Riley and Colt nice at bats. Spencer hacking away can't deliver like normal.

I agree with G. I know we are all second guessing but it seems like Olson should have been starting not coming out of the pen. I thought AJ would switch back after the Houston series and go away from the bullpen starting in a few games. Guess it's hard to 2nd guess what is working.

Just saw ZM play at 3rd. Yikes !

All we need is a couple of 3 spot innings baseball gods !
Make it so !.

Every Detroit hitter trying for a 5 run homer. We need some hits. Then the homer lol.

Olson mowing them down now. Even the announcers questioning using an opener.

Vierling looks at two fast balls near the middle of the plate, then swings at a low one. Their heads are not currently in the right place.

Because they're trying to win a playoff game.
They had a 5 run lead. It's not Like the Tigers were getting any clutch hits....Unless he was on a pitch count makes zero sense. Let him at least try and get it.
Agree to disagree.
