All-Big Ten Conference Awards

You're telling me there isn't a more deserving guy in the big ten for the best defensive back award? I'd take a few guys over Drummond (he has played well in the last three game though).

Also Jw, it's hard for osu coaches to win that award since the expectations are always high. I would've gave it to Meyer this year though. Hell of a job inserting Barret and making him a star.

I think most assumed when Miller was down we were a lock to win the B10. I still cant believe we lost by double digits at home and couldnt stop the run or the pass. I havent seen us that helpless in years..

spot on, I think OSU gets penalized because they are "EXPECTED" to win the B10. Minny coach has done a good job, Coach D but it should be Urbans award...

Meyer is undefeated for three years running in B1G conference play and can't win Coach of The Year. I don't think Tressel ever did either. They should somehow rename this award to recognize the fact that the Ohio State coach is ineligible.

I think it's an unwritten rule they just exclude cheaters and scumbags. If you'd like, you can ask the committee to codify it so there's no ambiguity.

That and I think Kill was flat out more deserving of the award than Meyer. Sure OSU lost their QB, but the backup was a beast that could have started for most teams in the country while on the bench for OSU. Minnesota football was a dumpster fire when Kill took over, now they're frequently ranked and almost won their division, despite having a nonexistent passing offense and a mediocre scoring offense.

Hump-day humor. Are you saying Urban is not running a clean program at OSU?
