Edit 12/2111 6:42 PST:

In tonight's preseason rematch against the Clips.

I'm gonna watch the game, I'll keep everybody posted

An exhibition game against the Clips.

End Edit.

5-9, 11 pts, 3 boards and 3 assits in 24 minutes off the bench.

The Lakers are glaringly weak/old at the point; missing out on Chris Paul is a huge blow to the Lakers redesign plans.

This season could present a really good opportunity for Darius.

Even though I don't like the Lakers much, I can't help but root for Darius to do well.

Go Blue!

he'll start at some point this year. Lakers don't need him to score, just distribute. But with his ability to get to the basket, he'd help them tremendously.

Did you watch any of it, Tinsel? I just caught the end of it on replay, and the announcers were commenting on how bogged down the offense was, while Morris happened to be in there. Of course you'd probably hear that comment about 20 times during each of these exhibition games. Especially when there are rookies on the floor who have only been through a week or so of NBA work.

I didn't see it or hear the commentary, but he got some praise from the locals on the ESPN affiliate (that broadcasts the Lakers games) saying he did well, and maybe they should just make him the starter.

The point is definitely the Lakers glaring weakness (I think said that already in the OP. Oh, well).
