It’s like a Blazers fan saying they wouldn’t want a top 3 pick because they drafted Sam Bowie over Michael Jordan. You can’t use individual instances as the end all be all. The majority of the time the higher pick the better across sports, I’d bet my life the results back it up.

I love Hockey and The Detroit Red Wings, which is why I loved when they had their 6 game winning streak towards the end of the season. The ones that pay those high prices don't want them to lose on purpose. What are they suppose to do?

And btw, picking 6th is not a diamond and the rough. There are some really good young hockey players in this draft.

I see Byram on many mocks as going top half of the top ten. I think, imo, Cozens gets drafted before Byram. In the end I'd love a defensive player. So Byram is probably my pick as well. I'd take Byram, trade back into round 1 and draft another D.
