Played at Nebraska, 5th year grad transfer, averaged 16/6, 6'7" wing player. Would likely start day 1 if he can defend.

Definitely restocked the talent with or without him, but that's a lot of new pieces. It's gonna make for an interesting season.

I don't know if you guys followed money ball at all but I heard tum was very good, hit two NBA 3's late for his team to win. Schilling was underwhelming and looked like he was loafing, Ellis looks like he put bad weight back on. Harris looks great and very strong, bridges is a monster. Langford supposedly played within the confines of real bb in a defense optional tournament. Winston got a ton of points driving but had trouble defending without bumping his man.

I'm not a fan of the whole grad transfer thing and I'm less of a fan of grad transfers intra-conference. I know sometimes kids get screwed over and they deserve to make a move and I get that some kids go to lesser teams/conferences to get playing time which makes more sense, but I question the loyalty of players that make these moves to contenders. It's like Ray Bourque going to the Avalanche - guy was a championship whore.

I wanted to puke every time Russell Wilson said "On Wisconsin" - he will always be a member of the Wolfpack to me.

I like the Nebraska program. Their coach preaches toughness as much as Izzo does.

White is a very good all around player, but Langford is starting and so is Bridges. So if Harris is at the 2, White doesn't have a spot.

Its going to be tough for Izzo to start Freshman but if he wants to win more games he better let his old conventional way of coaching take a seat on the pine.

Good article here. I like his quotes, seems like a smart kid. At first I think our crowded wing situation would scare him away but he's talking about championships. If he wanted to be the man and get a lot of shots he'd stay at Nebraska

The article does bring up a good point about needing some 3-point shooters. After Harris and McQuaid we might need a little there. Adding a senior presence to a pretty young team would be good too.

It does seem like we're becoming grad transfer U. Oh well. Get the players in there any which way you can. It is interesting that in lots of cases the hot shot freshmen (other than us landing a couple this year) who nothing more than a pitstop in college will find every reason not to come, but then you find those seniors who have paid their dues somewhere else but want to finish up experiencing something more, see us as an attactive option.

I don't like grad transfer rules but it could be a way for us to combat bag men that other schools have.

Speaking of cheaters, our main competition is Syracuse. I think their depth chart sets up a little better for him. The advantage we have is our coach and a conference that he's familiar with

A few more things in our favor over Syracuse is the fact we play man defense. If you want to prepare for the NBA, playing zone does not help. Also, our schedule is 100x better. We play Duke, UK, Arizona, and potentially Louisville, Syracuse plays their typical shut schedule with their only challenge coming in the acc big ten vs Wisconsin

I saw something a little while back that said he's no longer considering MSU.
