Ann Coulter Slams Trump for Proposed DACA Compromise for the Wall

I think most of us would probably agree if it were a choice between A) 50 miles of barrier that the press would report as being the wall that Trump promised and B) 300 miles of barrier that the press would report as being a failure of Trump to deliver what he had promised, the Dems would vote for B and Trump and the Republicans would vote for A.

I have a sneaking suspicion this whole shutdown is a farce, masking some other really awful shit going on behind the scenes.

Yeah. If Trump was so serious about the wall, he should have pushed it 6 months ago when he had both the house and senate. This entire circus has been timed for the instant it because more disruptive.

Well then ideally, the best place for the border wall would be Times Square.

There is not a place in the country that would be more visible, and at the same time completely unnecessary.

I was listening to POTUS on Sirius the other day and apparently a poll showed that 31% of conservatives surveyed thought an Atlantic Coast wall would be a good idea. So he'd have some support, some people just love a nice wall.

Would that be to keep out illegals? Or would it be to keep east coast liberals from migrating into flyover country?

In that case maybe a West Coast wall would be a good idea too.

Maybe they should just open up entry for illegal aliens at both coasts and the liberals and the illegals would be trapped together, pinned between the walls and the oceans, not entirely unlike the prisoners in those Kurt Russell/Snake Plissken movies from back in the day.

Good question. I tried finding the poll results online but couldn't find what they cited.

he could sell it to the climate alarmist as a barrier to keep out water from sea levels that aren't actually rising.

For the two wall solution, if he wanted to move them inland and wall off the coastal elites and illegals from the Midwest you could be on to something.

Well yeah that?s what I meant, there would have to be some amount of corridor between the wall and the ocean.

The west you could pretty much have at the wit of all of California,Oregon and Washington, in the east one might have to have it the width of two states in some places where the states are a little smaller.

Maybe Ann Coulter will donate her Adam’s Apple to Border Patrol along the Mexican border.

That’d make a bigger wall than any of these fake mock ups Trump visits like Kim Jong visits fake preschools.

I had heard the take that sea levels rising was a natural occurrence not caused by man and I had heard that it was all part of God's plan but I hadn't heard that sea levels weren't actually rising at all.

WEEEEELLLLL, if that's the case then you better get ready for a blast of truth from those noted climate scientists at Fox News or the Daily Caller, or Daily Mail, or whoever has recently intentionally mis-read a quote from some study on the topic...

That concept is so antediluvian.

and if the sea levels do rise, then all the illegals and coastal elites get drowned like rats and the folks in parts of states like AZ, NV, ID, PA, WV, TN and AL see their now beach front property values quadruple. Everybody wins.

sea levels shifting, not rising - and that's way more grounded in science than anthropogenic climate change. If it had anything to do with God pretty much everything west of interstate 5 from Vancouver to Orange County would be underwater for years by now...

must be new, there was a time when I was covering the coal sector as an analyst so I knew all those companies (and more) pretty thoroughly. The most vocal about regulation and the environment at that time was Robert Murray (CEO of Murray Energy - probably the biggest private firm in the business then) and to some extent Don Blakenship from Massey.

Don't search for it, I made it up.
