Has he been able to practice this season? Has he been keeping himself out of trouble? He should be a dominant receiver next year. Any chance he's the next #1?

Yeah, he's been on the scout team the whole season and has been doing really well. I don't know if you remember this - but at some point around the 2nd week or so one of the news people snapped a photo of a guy wearing the #1 jersey and people started freaking out thinking Hoke had given it to someone. It turned out Stonum was just replicating the other team's #1 guy and has been throughout the season. Generally they're giving Stonum the task of replicating the #1 target for the week's upcoming team.

Interesting. I think he could be a game breaker worthy of the UM #1 jersey. If he could just stay away from the sauce...

Whether he deserves it based on his on-field play or not (I side with not) there's no chance in hell they give it to a guy who's only on the 2012 team because he got a second DUI. Simply being able to play again is enough of a reward for any potential hard work he's putting in. Especially with Braylon's issues, you're just asking for it if you give it to Stonum.

From his press conference today: "Stonum ..." big smile. "Showing well. I like Stonum."

stonum tweets ans is saying he is doing whT he needs to do
and plans on beung there next yr

and yes hoke likes what he is doing on scout team

Good for Stonum and good for Coach Hoke. I am glad that Coach held the line and Stonum has responded so well. Coach has shown himself to be a character building guy, unlike some other B10 coaches that I shall not mention. I look forward to seeing Stonum play next year.
