AOC to Primary Schumer?

looks like AOC is going to have a challenger for her seat.

sadly, I think Scherie will be a long shot given she is a Republican. If AOC loses her seat i think it will most likely be to another Dem in the primary. She is in a very union heavy district and they are not happy with her at all.

Oh. I assumed it would be a primary challenge when I saw the post - as crazy as New York is, it still ain?t California; Republicans at least GET to run someone in the general election.

So learning that, I watched the ad and it?s pretty good - she really blasted AOC.

Now, if somehow Scherie somehow manages to get elected will she get to take AOC?s place on the Squad? She is, after all, also a woman of color.

at least AOC can't dismiss her offhand for being a white male - she has to take the risk of accusing her of being an Uncle Tom. Given Scherie's background, that seems like a pretty tough sell. If AOC ends up having to debate, even though I vote in New Jersey, I'd consider making the trip into the Bronx just to watch Scherie mop the floor with her live and in person.

No the Qualifications to make the "Sqaud" have nothing to do with color, you just have to hate America and be a bat shit crazy loony lefty. One of the current Squad members would likely consider Scherie a black face not being a black voice, which seems like a racist thing to say IMO.

I don?t agree.

If you want to call the leader of both parties a racist, I think it doesn?t carry much weight if you yourself are not already a person of color.

Remember-it was Nanci Pelosi who first made race the issue by singling them out because they are women of color.

and if you're not already a person of color, can you say you identify as one, like Rachel Dolezal and then start calling others racist?

Well, she did - or tried to at least.

I don?t know that that worked out particularly well for her in the end.

why does the left resort to color all the time?
